Short Bio: SOUL TEMPO The four members of SOUL TEMPO, Jerry
Brunson, Tony Burnett, brothers Kevin Mitchell and Phillip
Mitchell, grew up together and the strong chemistry between them is
reflected in their great sound and their on-stage charisma. Things
first started to coalesce for the foursome when they got the chance
to audition for film producer/director Penny Marshall for her movie
then in production. Ms, Marshall became an instant fan, as she
remains to this day, and Soul Tempo was given an on-camera singing
part in “The Preacher’s
Wifeâ€, with Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington.
Soul Tempo recently performed in Washington, DC. at the Democratic
debate with Mr. Tavis Smiley of PBS. The Group also performed for
and with Bishop TD Jakes and many more including Mr. Tom Joyner of
the ABC Network, Barack Obama and Mrs Hillary Clinton just to name
a few. Soul Tempo is a National Recording Group that have a hit
record on the market entitled “The
Lord’s Prayerâ€. The Group has
worked hard to achieve their rapidly increasing notoriety. In
addition to previous recordings, their list of appearances is
wide-ranging ( from the Apollo Theater to Disney to Kennedy Center
and Radio City Music Hall and many other national & overseas
venues). This Group looks forward to moving into high gear and big
