Hello, Lady! Thank you for taking the time to check out my page. Let me first describe myself. My name is Walter R. Johnson and I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a single black male. I am 5'-11" tall and weigh about 195 lbs. (admittedly slightly overweight). My birthday is August 14, 1947. As of January 12, 2009, I have quit smoking. Some of the things that I enjoy (and would be glad to share with you) include music (jazz, blues, R&B, symphony, and ballet), travel, computers, amusement parks (especially roller-coasters), target shooting, books (history, science fiction, techno-thrillers, science, technology [in the broader sense of the word], politics, etc.), museums (i.e., the Air Force Museum; the Museum of Science and Industry), skydiving, hiking & camping, restaurants (the more foreign and/or exotic, the better), and, of course, soul food. I am hoping to eventually meet a potential wife. I do realize that such a thing will not happen overnight; I do NOT believe in "love at first sight". I am aware that such a commitment would take work, work, work, and that it will always be "a work in progress". Many persons of both sexes glibly proclaim their willingness, but somehow their follow-through leaves something to be desired. A lot of people like to talk the talk, but I can - and will - walk the walk! However, since I am not a fanatic about finding the "love of my life", I am quite willing to have a less intense, more casual, relationship of mutual companionship. The important thing is to have a basis of respect and at least a few shared interests. I hope to hear from you soon. Have fun & keep the peace.
