Iam no longer active duty in the NAVY.Had to get out and do somethings for myself. I have justcompleted the Physician`s Assistant program. It was a long hard road. I owe a big THANK YOU to the love of my life MY HUSBAND for all his LOVE, SUPPORT, andWORDS OFENCOURAGEMENT, I could not have accomplished this without him in my corner. THANKS to my family and friends as well. I`m all about being successful in whatever I do and the military was not helping me accomplish that. I may give it another try once I'm done takin' care of me and accomplishing my goals.There was no way I was ever going to become a Physician on the government`s time. Uncle Sam wants you to look out for him right now but won't look out for you. Recently relocated to Albany, Georgia (Yeah, I'm a Georgia Peach now)! But I will always be a CHI TOWN GIRL ("SOUTH SIDE" born and raised!) Don't get me wrong all work and no play is not what I'm about. I do get my party on. I'm just a strong black woman who knows how to handle her business. After all, there is a time and a place for all things. I'm just one of the few who can determine when , and where, the time calls for such.

If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, and stomp on your dreams, are too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend. To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals, interests, and lead a productive lifestyle. When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life. Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure. Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens:CHICKENS CAN'T FLY! I love the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, and all that he will do therefore, I'm passing this on. Yes I do love Jesus. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing.
Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things! Phil 4:13.
