EbonyPoet's Poetikvibez

You are my poem

I want you to become my poem
Let me give birth to your essence
Let me scribe the radiance of your soul
And capture the beauty of your heart

Let me explore your nouns
Swim within your pronouns
Foreplay within your verbs
And let my fingers journey across your adverbs

Let your paragraphs entice me
Your syllables interject passion and intimacy
As I become one with your thoughts
I find the true meaning of your inner beauty

Captured within your adjectives
I find solace within your consonants
Deep thoughts within your vowels
I find enchantment

Let my fingers
Embrace each paragraph
Let the essence of your soul
Become one with my imagination

I feel you
Your thoughts, your words
As I canvass every inch of you
You have become my poetry

My pen moves
To your rhythm
Your soul embraces each written line
As I embrace the essence of you

My love

Within her secret garden

Vegetation
Of sensual sensations
Within her plantation
I found the essence of stimulation

I found a terrace of temptations
Within her soil of passion I found cultivation
Of a tangy tropical bounty
An assortment of imaginative intimacy

Her erotic fields
Yields
An oasis of orgasmic ecstasy
Within the migrated love of her anatomy

Like a Caribbean delicacy
The sweet taste of her mango frame
The mixture of exotic flavors
Within her secret garden, her nectar I savored

Picking from the vine of arousment
Stirring excitement
I can feel her flowers begin to bloom
As the moans of delight echoed throughout the room

The orgasmic rain
As it saturated her terrain
As intertwined anatomies
Within her secret garden I found the region of intimacy

Within her secret garden

Giving birth to poetry

It started with a seed within my imagination
Nurturing it, slowly giving this precious life a foundation
It began to take shape and form from imagery
As poetry became my literary 10.5 lb. baby

I gave it formula of nouns and verbs
And gently feeding it pronouns and adverbs
Because with TLC
This child of poetry will become an extension of me

Like a flower it grew
From sorted thoughts to something brand new
The words began to form into a metered compilation
For the beauty of this verse gave me inspiration

My muse became a fuse to express what lies within
The beauty of this little haiku gave motion to my pen
As the rotation of my pen brought to life symmetrical lines
Poetry took her first steps with each word that was define

I gave poetry a steady diet of syllables and adjectives
As images came into view my thoughts became descriptive
And as the ink flowed endlessly
Poetry said her first words to me

The expressive nature of my essence
Gave strength and determination to her presence
For poetry became a dependent in my soul
And through the verbalization of her foundation, poetry became whole

Now with each write I define a time and situation
For to nurture this child I must use inspiration
To bring this child into societys light I use determination
For poetry to prosper I must look within my heart and imagination

For poetry
Has captured the essence of me
For this child has brought me inspiration
To look within words and capture ones mind is my motivation

For my baby is slowing becoming a lady.

A Higher power

If I just believe
All I desire I will receive
Just believing in myself
And I will embrace all of lifes wealth

In life I must perceive
The blessings of God I will receive
Knowing that there is no greater man
Than the one who leads me from the promise land

Salvation is my armor
Faith my victory
Prayer is my communication
For my precious father watches over me

I will confront detours
As the devil tries to lure
Taking me out of a senses of spiritual oneness
Showing his selfishness

But I move
To my precious fathers groove
And know one will stop my journey
Because I have the greatest force guiding me

I speak of my woman

I who speaks
Celebrating the beauty of my woman
Her essence, her inspiration
And what she instills within me

She inspires me
Motivates me
Loves me when the world is cold
And uplifts me when I am down

A woman as lovely as her
How can I not express this love
Knowing that this love is returned 10-folds
And through her I find strength

I speak
Giving light to the beauty of my woman
Her heart and soul that shines like a beacon
And the warmth of her soul that ignites my being

Love
One syllable intertwined by two desires
A union of hearts
That gives birth to a sunray of emotions

She is my sun that engulfs me
That soothing rain that drenches my soul
She is that beautiful sunset that captures my eyes
For she is my inspiration, my heart and soul

I speak of her
Of her beauty
Of her essence
But most of all her heart and the love she gives to me

This journey we share
Is paved by loves soil
Together we nurture it like a precious rose
Giving birth to something so magical and true

To speak of her
I speak with pride
Knowing that within this world
She became my most precious gift

My woman

The most precious love embraces me

He believes in me
Understands me
Inspires me
Motivates me

He uplifts me
Mentors me
Provides me
And through my journey he walks me

He speaks to me
Shelters me
Embraces me
Loves me like no other does

I am loved
By the greatest love ever known
And I am inspired by his faith, love and wisdom
Because only my precious father understands me

History through the words of our people

Many times we have looked
And not seen the exploration of our history in books
That most of our legacy
Lives within our elder family

Those who speak of past times
Filling knowledge within our minds
Who speak of the times of slavery
To the struggles for freedom and equality

The eldest
Of the family
Would sit around
And share his life with the youngest of the family

He would tell them of yesterday
And how they paved the way for today
How many died just so they could be free
And have today so many opportunities

We are blessed
By the actions of our ancestry
Those who paved the way
To enrich our lives within this country

It is time for society
To recognize our contributions to society
Time for them to accept and acknowledge
The donations of a black woman and man

I made love to poetry "Part I"

Will this desire ever end
Poetry keeps seducing my pen
Tempting me with nouns and verbs
Enticing my mind with pronouns and adverbs

Her soft whispers
Brought me closer to her
Designing images within my imagination
Capturing sound and imagery into a written composition

Poetry caressed me
Gently across my pens so sensually
But through poetry passions I could not refuse
As she seduced my mind within my imagination she lit the fuse

Poetry
Invited me
Deep within her core
And there she tighten her words around me

Spitting words
Sultry and seductively
Like a literary 69 of the mind
Within her saturated core, she took me on a journey

To be continued

My beautiful Black flower

Like a beautiful black flower
I watched you evolve
I watched as you gave birth to love
And showered me with your essence

I was taken by your aura
The sweet smell of your fragrance
That come hither look within your eyes
That guided me to your soul

Soft were your petals
Your fragrance so enchanting
The roots of your imagination
Gave way to buds of passion and desire

Your sweet whispers captured me
Crept within my heart
And made a home within my soul
As I give you the key to my heart

My beautiful black flower
I will nurture you
Give you the warmth of my heart
And the sunrays of my soul

I will fulfill your desires
And bright life to your hopes and dreams
And I will share a lifetime and forever
Just loving and embracing you

My precious black flower

Mold me precious father to your design

Take me my precious Lord
And mold me
Design me to your Requirements
Be a blessing in my life

Guide me
Nurture me
Teach me
Your faith and wisdom provide for me

I praise you
Speak of your beauty
As the Holy Spirit fills my soul
In prayer I speak to you

Take me
Mind, body and soul
Rejuvenate my spirit my father
Make me whole

Your acceptance
Is what I live for
For when my life is no more
I want to be able to walk through heaven's angelic door

And walk with you

Senseless

The ones
Who are paid to protect us
Through them we as a society
Are being faced with so much injustice

Because you carry a gun and badge
Does that give you the right and authority
To take innocent people
Away from their friends and family

A righteous shooting
Is what they say
Because they thought they saw a weapon
Another innocent persons life snuffed away

And to sit there
So proudly
And say they are not guilty
What a crime to humanity

So is that
Telling me
That if a cop even thinks I am wrong
That they have the right to pump me

With 50 bullets

This is sickening
The senseless killing
At the hands of the ones who suppose to protect us
Now this is some reality for you injustice

Damn

How many times
Before it is considered a crime

10-20-30-40-50

How many times
Before it becomes a crime
Unloading your clips within me
As life slowly deteriorates from my body

Injustice
Is like a plague amongst us
Because of societys way of thinking
More innocent people keep on dying

How many more
Must pay with their lives
How many cops will get acquitted
Where does the answer lie

It is like a pattern
That replays itself
Another innocent black man murdered
Lets clean it up and put it on society back shelf

Injustice

Lies
Alibis
And the real truth
Society disguises

Happy 72nd Birthday Dad with love

Another year
Has passed by
And the thought of you dad
Still brings tears to my eyes

I feel as though
Without you I am missing so much
Your words, your guidance
The strength of your touch

Another year we celebrate
Your special birthday
To a man who gave so much of himself
And lived life in a special way

I know you look down
From the heavens’ above
Watching over me, guiding me
With your wisdom, strength and love

To live in a world
With so many dead-beat dads
I am truly blessed to have the best
That anyone has ever had

I live for you
To make you so proud of me
I sit here and a tear falls from my eyes
Knowing that you left a big void in this family

But the beauty of life
Is knowing that I have so many memories
And a lifetime of love dad
That you have instilled within me

Happy birthday dad
And thank you so much for all that you have given me
Thank you for giving me life
And showing me the beauty of love and family

Happy 72nd Birthday Dad….

A Celebration for my Father

My father, my best friend, the love that we shared is magical and always will be. In a world where many men shun their responsibilities I had you, someone who showed me what true love and family was. You instilled in me what it is to be a man and to express what lies within my heart and soul and I will always be grateful dad because you molded me into the man I am today

Love you

Gene

A Candidates Prayer

I sit here father
And I ask of thee
What is the path?
That you have prepared for me

Guided by your inspiration
As my faith in you becomes my motivation
Strength in who I am and what I can become
As I charter this path to the presidential nomination

To comprehend and think
We are at the brink of history
And it is sad at the same time
To think that others see me for the color of my anatomy

Judgment
Resentment
That the color of my skin
Could deny me of being president

With all the worries
Embracing this country
The war, the economy
There are so many hardships facing this nation, not me

What does it matter?
If I can bring change to this nation
To bring to this country strength and inspiration
Why would it matter the color of ones pigmentation

One would think
After 400 years of slavery
That we as a country
Should put more emphasis on the state of this world financially

The human race
Is not made up of one particular face
It is a multitude of people
Different colors of the rainbow learning to live together in one place

If I being president
Can bring change to this land
Will they see me as just another African American
Instead of the leader of this ever-changing land

The incompetence
Brought upon the past leaders of this land
Did anyone complain
About the color of the man

No…

Together as Americans
We have a mission
To help change this world
Before it falters and goes into recession

When Americans go out to vote
Vote on my platform and capabilities
The vision that I share with America
And not on the skin color of my anatomy

Think…

The history of this path achieved
President Barak Obama

Today the heavens opened wide
As Martin, Malcolm and Rosa watched with pride
Rejoicing and taking a moment to contemplate
To see a young African American man embraced as a Presidential candidate

To look back and see
The actions and struggles of past centuries
From having no voice, no rights, the ability to vote
To have our voices ring out loud within this democracy

To embrace this historic victory
The task at hand to bring change to this country
Even when we know there will be resentment
That an African American would be called “Mr. President”

But he has earned that right…

Now the pathway has been cleared
And tomorrow is a bright new day
And now we have fulfilled  our destination
Now it is time to fulfill our promises
That brought us this historic presidential nomination

Malcolm spoke of non-violence
Malcolm spoke of strength and unity
Rosa made a proud statement by refusing to give her seat away
So we could embrace this monumental day

The heavens are smiling on this day
As we take this precious moment to pray
That our precious father for blessing us all
Now change begins today

America heard our cries
That echoed through the blue skies
“Change” is what we all demand
regardless  of the color of one’s hands

We made a stand
Each and every American
We took the power of a hand motion
And within the halls of Pennsylvania Avenue resides an African American

There are some who will disagree
That may not see the same things I see
But that is the beauty of choice
We all have a voice to shape this democracy

Now the task of change is at hand
To bring positive empowerment to this land
Because this day is a historic one
As the White House is occupied by a family of African Americans

America heard our voices and they responded…

Within the Manhattan sky
Lights gleam proudly
In remembrance of the tragedy
7 years ago today that embraced this country

The symbols of strength
Defiance and determination

The sadness
How America came together
