The campaign and election of Barack Obama has changed the game. He ran the best campaign the world has ever seen. He beat "the man" and even some leaders of his own people  who did not know"Our time has come". I do not fault our leaders who did not believe because many thought not in their life time. I am by no stretch of the of the imagination slim. However I am shrinking. I now weigh in at a slimmer 246 lbs. This is 31 lbs lighter than my start weight and 11 lbs. short of my first goal of 235 lbs. There is no doubt in my mind that I will make it. I have a new goal already. I want to get down to 214 lbs. My youngest, my baby, now a 17 year old young lady went to her senior prom. There was a time I would have waited at home with my cell phone in hand and keys ready to ride out at a moments notice. I did this with my oldest who is now 20. I guess it is just a parents nature to worry. However, I have taught them the rules of survival.
