I just watched this and I had to chuckle! I won’t say they can’t [sing]. They can’t SANG! We need real R&B to come back. Avery Wilson, Durand, and the rest of the guys can’t hold it down alone! Secondly, they didn’t get the didactic hours that we did, like the video counted at bare minimum. We country folks got more! All we had to do was play sports and sing. We can tell who got the peppermint & strawberry candy stick to the wrapper.🤣🥰 The newbies are throaty singers, who didn‘t benefit as a whole from music education classes, and weren’t raised in church nor the school choir. They don’t belt like Whitney, Siedah, Vesta, etc. They need coaching or church! I’m so sad and angry at the same time! This doc got fired for giving everybody the REAL PSA (the starter pack). That’s why I used to try to tell y’all stuff all the time about different things! I will tell you this though. Don‘t go to the ER alone, don’t stay in the hospital alone, don’t have procedures without getting copies of your information, ask for education sheets about ALL of your medications (because they get lazy and won’t give them to you), and sign up for copies of ALL of your records! I’m here! It‘s hot as fish grease out here too! I’m glad I came early to “zero quarter” because the Astros are playing, there’s a Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind, & Fire concert nearby, not to mention several other events. Gotta pay $50/$60+ to park near the stadium. My son didn’t come with his percussion group that he plays with on the side. Why does this young man know more people in here than I do? This game & everywhere we go! Stopped to get food and everybody & their mama are calling him by his nicknames here. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

What am I doing right now? I just got home from a H.S. football game where my son is a drum major. There were only 2 due 2 having the 🦠! I‘m drinking coffee as I do EVERY night at this time. (migraine relief) I’m debating on if I should go to the Labor Day Classic (PV vs. TX Southern) tomorrow since I’ve never been.

Sometimes I miss this person… going out occasionally with friends. This memory showed up in my phone today taken in New Orleans 5 years ago. I got a little homesick. Only good food, good music, good people, and a secondline could make this happy, I guess.

Hi, Planeteers of Soul! 😉! I missed y’all! How have you been? It’s been 7 months. I apologize for staying away so long. Losing people and grief does that and before you know it, you’ve lost track of the things that gave you the sweetest joy. I didn’t want to cry here. BP has been my happy place, my sanctuary, my happy place. I want to keep it that way.

(Ignore the fact that I need to retwist my hair) Anyway, I‘ve lost 40+ pounds intentionally & did go back to working, I cut inches off my hair in September but it’s back, and yes, my new curtains arrived earlier and I’m going to hang them now that I know we won’t be affected by the Tropical Storm. Those of you who are, I lift all of you in prayer! 🙏🏽
