12th Annual Black Boaters Summit 2009

Do you like adventure travel?
This group is mainly targeted people who love adventure travel, meeting people from all over the world, and have or want to participate(d) in the annual Black Boater's Summit in the US & British Virgin Islands.
The Summit is in its 12th year and is held each year in the US & British Virgin Islands. Many of the participants are adventure travellers who are also members of the National Brotherhood of Skiers, or National Association of Black Scuba Divers, or don't swim or sail at all, but love to travel.
The yachts are chartered "bareboat" where everyone helps with the cooking and cleaning of the vessels (think renting a condo, but its a yacht). Except for our "Crewed Yachts" the vessels are captained by African American men and women who can skipper a boat of forty feet or larger.
The adventure begins on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands on July 31, 2009 and continues through August 9th. Don't miss it!
