Actress, Writer, Director, Singer, Author, Entrepreneur, T'Keyah Crystal Keymah is luminescence and power. She lit the screen with her comedic genius on In Living Color, warmed our hearts in her role as Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad's daughter on the CBS hit series Cosby and is known by millions of children around the world as 'Raven and Cory's mom'. Signed copies of her books, "Some of My Best Friends" and "Natural Woman/ Natural Hair" are available on her website, www.tkeyah.com. Today, T'Keyah works behind the camera more often than not, has theater, television, film and music projects in development and will release the second edition of Natural Woman / Natural Hair this summer. T`Keyah enriches her life with charitable work. The Keymah Cultural Fund supports arts organizations and provides theater tickets to underserved African American youth. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Public Service Sorority, Inc., works with the NABSIO prison outreach program, the NAACP's ACT-SO program and tempers her schedule with a vegan diet, gardening, reading, daily exercise, meditation and prayer. This year T'Keyah Chairs the Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV Women's Empowerment Build on May 14th and 15th in Pacoima, CA, and Co-Chairs with actor Lamman Rucker (Why Did I Get Married / Meet the Browns) the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, NC August 1-7. When she has time, T`Keyah loves to travel! She was born on October 13, 1962 in Chicago, IL.
