Whats up BP......

Check out my group.....BLACKS AGAINST THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY..... I'm always looking for insightful debates. If you got what it takes....click on the Group link in my Groups I Belong To" section and show me what you got....

Just Take one Moment To Thank God.... We Are Blessed Beyond "Our" Imagination.... If You're Atheist, I Respect Your Ways And Just Disregard The Message.

Before I Go On About Myself...I Received This Email From A Very Special Person In My Life And IT Made Me Think Long And Hard.....Take Time To Read This:
"An African proverb states, 'Before you get married, keep both eyes open, and after you marry, close one eye.' Before you get involved and make a commitment to someone, don't let lust, desperation, immaturity, ignorance, pressure from others or a low self-esteem make you blind to warning signs. Keep your eyes open, and don't fool yourself that you can change someone or that what you see as faults aren't really important.
Once you decide to commit to someone, over time their flaws, vulnerabilities, pet peeves, and differences will become more obvious. If you love your mate and want the relationship to grow and evolve, you've got to learn to close one eye and not let every little thing bother you. You and your mate have many different expectations, emotional needs, values, dreams, weaknesses, and strengths. You are two unique individuals who have decided to share a life together. Neither of you are perfect, but are you perfect for each other? Do you bring out the best of each other? Do you compliment and compromise with each other, or do you compete, compare, and control? What do you bring to the relationship? Do you bring past relationships, past hurt, past mistrust, past pain? You can't take someone to the altar to alter him or her. You can't make someone love you or make someone stay. If you develop self-esteem, spiritual discernment, and 'a life', you won't find yourself making someone else responsible for your happiness or responsible for your pain. Manipulation, control, jealousy, neediness, and selfishness are not the ingredients of a thriving, healthy, loving and lasting relationship. Seeking status, sex, wealth, and security are the wrong reasons to be in a relationship.
What keeps a relationship strong? Communication, intimacy, trust, a sense of humor, sharing household tasks, some getaway time without business or children and daily exchanges (a meal, a shared activity, a hug, a call, a touch, a note). Leave a nice message on their voicemail or send a nice email. Sharing common goals and interests. Growth is important. Grow together, not away from each other, giving each other space to grow without feeling insecure. Allow your mate to have outside interests. You can't always be together. Give each other a sense of belonging and assurances of commitment. Don't try to control one another. Learn each other's family situation. Respect his or her parents regardless. Don't put pressure on each other for material goods. Remember for richer or for poorer.
If these qualities are missing, the relationship will erode as resentment, withdrawal, abuse, neglect, dishonesty, and pain replaces the passion. Think on that..."

Now this is an interesting dialog from a good person in whom I respect. Now we disagree politically but just read for yourself...I will display the entire exchange. Please read from bottom to top......And let me know what you think:

From: tsparks611 To: WhiteSoul Subject: Re: hey Don't get me wrong, there is that select amount that are willing just like how you and I are conversing...But it's undeniably embedded more in the older generation than it is the younger. That's because of the fact they experienced it. We're, the younger generation, are just mere sponges absorbing out past from the older ones. But the difference is acceptance. When it comes to that particular variable, it's a crushing yet graceful difference. For example, integration now compared to some 40 to 60 years ago is leading the way in the progression within this ideal of understanding...But look at it back in the days..the ideal of acceptance, for example, was that we were inferior striving to change that. That was noted on both sides....To be honest with you, I have no racial barrier...I hate that we have deviated away from God only for selfish gain. God doesn't distinguish race or color...He simply says man.

From: WhiteSoul To: tsparks611 Subject: Re: hey Yes and no...dialog between the older generations may be next to impossible but why should that prevent those both young and old who are willing to try??????

From: tsparks611 To: WhiteSoul Subject: Re: hey It's also requires a lot of listening. I still say, racism will not die down until my parents and parent's parents die. When that generation is deceased, then some dialog can occur. Can you agree?

From: WhiteSoul To: tsparks611 Subject: Re: hey Yeah, I heard about and saw photos about that tornado...has that city had them previously??? Concerning Rev Wright, I have to be honest and say that what he said didn't upset me as much as that it was on tape and got on the air ways and played over and over and distorted! With the passing of a few days, I guess my thinking is that if all this brings out a more honest and heartfelt dialog about isues of race in America, than it can't be all bad...

From: tsparks611 To: WhiteSoul Subject: Re: hey Hey buddy, long time....nothing much on my side. Downtown Atlanta saw its first Tornado ever....so we're recovering from that. What do you think about the Wright situation with Obama? I couldn't believe it, I found myself defending him lol....

From: WhiteSoul To: tsparks611 Subject: hey what's new with you...we got a spring snow storm out side my window that makes it look a lot like chritmas....lol...

I'm tsparks611. I'm the 10th child of 13 kids. I'm a observing eagle...I don't let anything go or slip past me unless you are capable pure deception. I'm a man of responsibility. I lend helping hands but never give hand outs. I am a puppet for God's work. I sound my trumpet in honor of Him because he loves me and guides me even through the darkness. I have the heart of my mom and the strength of my dad. For through their selfless act, created 13 wonderful children. I have seen and learned a lot in spite of my youth. I default to growth and development. I am patient beyond my understanding.... and I cherish intellect.

Something To Think About:

1) There Is A Serious War Against Individuality Within This Country.... Ask Me And I'll Elaborate.

2) Black Men Are Getting Weak And Black Women Are Getting Stronger. There's Absolutely Nothing Wrong With Black Women Getting Stronger, But It's The Men I Have A Problem With. I Do LOVE ME A STRONG BLACK WOMAN..... ( One Who Thinks For Herself )

3) People Meet And Early Within The Relationship, They Have Sex..... Now They're In Love!! WOW! How Could You Love Someone You Barely Know?

4) People Tend To Search For Themselves In Others.

5) It's Wrong For A Black Person To Be Anything But A Democrat..... My Feeling Towards That Is, Democrats Destroy They Essence Of This Country.

6) Kids Are Very Beautiful, And I Thank God For A Woman's Ability To Create.... But Stop Creating IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT OR ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY.

7) Over 90% Of The Population Thinks That The United States Of America Is A Land Of Democracy......... No My Friend, It Is A Land Of A Republic......... Law Of The Land Not Majority Rule..... Research Or Recite The Pledge Of Allegiance, It's In There.

8) Folks Are Ignorant To SIMPLE Economics......... Here's An Example.....Hip Hop Is Not The Problem With Our Generation Because It's A Product, As Long People Demand The Product, The Supplier Will Supply. The Problem Is Parents Trying to BEFRIEND Their Child........ BE A PARENT!

9) Homophobia is FUNNY!!! If You Don't Like Gays, Or Lesbians Ways..... Just Respect Them And Their Choice Of Life And Leave Them The Hell ALONE. You're NOT GOD! And To Make It Clear, I'm NOT Gay Nor Bi And Never Will Be. I'm Just Respectful Of One's Choice.

10) Confusion...... Now This Is A Good One. This World Is Based Of Two Very Important Elements...... Yes or No, Ying and Yang, Light and Dark... Catch My Drift. It's Either....Or. Stop Living In The Grey Area! Make A Decision.....

11) People Do Not Research But Always Have Something To Say..... Emotions Are Good But Facts Are GREAT!!!

12) I Got To Say it.... Black Folks And This Katrina Shyt!!! President Bush Is Not GOD! It Wasn't Just His Fault. They Failed At All Levels Of Government.... Let Me Explain. If The Mayor Can't Handle The Situation, He Hands It To The Governor. If The Governor Can't Handle The Situation, He/She Hands It To The President. That Is The Way Our Law Is DESIGNED!!!! The President Is Governed By Laws. Let Me Simplify This Though.... If The City Can't Do It ( Local Level ), The State Steps In. If The State Can't Do It, The FEDERAL Government Steps In. Bush Asked The Incompetent Democrat Governor Blanco Did She Need For Us ( Federal Government ) To Step In..... She Said NO!!! That Of Course Cancels Out The Federal Government From Intervening Until It's Too Late...

13) We Care More About What's Going On In Hollywood When We Know Fascist Islam Wants To Kill Us.

14) Not All Muslims Are Terrorist But The Vast Majority Of Terrorist Have Been Muslim. Except For That One White Guy...Timothy McBey If I'm Correct..... He Has My First Name...Now I'm Really Crazy.....SHYT!!!!!!

15) GOVERNMENT EXISTS TO PROTECT MY RIGHTS, NOT TO ORDER MY LIFE!

I Can Go On and On..........

If You've Made It This Far And Learned Something New, Great Job!
