Been awhile...so question.. How many of you sisters walk past a black man in the street, mall, work, wherever and avert your eyes then get feelings when a lady of a different race smile at him and he smile back?

They said black people need to get over slavery and move on...
I said yes but you first! Move on from judging me by the color of my skin
You first, move on from creating blockades to my success and my life
You first, move on from being scared because of my color, my music, my clothes
You first move on from the assumptions you claim by my race I'm prone to do
You first move on from being scared when two or more of us gather
You first move on from your fear of the us whether young or old
You first, move on from the many things we are not "allowed" to do
You first, move on from deeming criminal my “expressing myself”
You first, for while asking me to forget you remind me every day of my ‘place’
You first move on from the constitutional allowances of freedom for all, except me
You first, move on from calling the cops on me for just being... me
You first, expecting me to move on yet you hold on to the past ways
You first, move on from treating me as if we are still in slave days
You first, yes, I rise and move on but hey you first move out of my way
Yes, you first, we all can move on, as one race... humans let’s move on!

Step outside and the car said -4... i was like if temp get any lower and your gonna be minus me too. Then i realize i had bills to pay... sooo i went to work lol

Snow days make you realize people have lost the art of communication.. social media means scanning pics and posts hardly a real convo anymore

The friend or loved one that remembers you best when you are standing in front of them is actually an acquaintance...not your priority. See people as they are not as you wish them to be.

Happy 2019 everyone.. instead of resolutions just do better than last year. Don't talk about it just be it.

Have you ever wondered how many people you knew that ignored you would claim to be your best friend if you were to become rich and or famous? Or how many of your love interests esp those who didnt give you the time of day or night would magically show back up?

I didnt realize the legacy black planet stuff was being removed with this new update.. came looking and realize i have an empty profile for nothing transferred.. smh
