WHO AM I?

§         I am that hardworking sistah that takes care of family, business and never neglects her man. <o:p>

§         I am that Christian soldier who looks out for her fellow man and tries to live right.  But like all of us, I still have a ways to go. <o:p>

§         I am strong, silly, positive and sensual.  <o:p>

§         I live life to its fullest... work hard and play harder.  <o:p>

§         I am a woman of my word and a ride-or-die friend. <o:p>

§         I am that "lady in the streets" and ... you know the rest.  Don't let the sweet smile fool ya! <o:p>

§         I love travel, movies, music, art, reading, and THE BEACH. I write poetry and love spoken word (to watch, not perform LOL). I like to have fun, have been told I have an "infectious" laugh. Work That!

The song you are listening to (Work that) is my new anthem for 2008. In my recent journey (post divorce, reclaiming me, rejoicing in my blessings... this song embodies all that I have come to enjoy in this life. March 21, 2008 was the one year anniversary on being single again.. and I am celebrating me! It ties right into this piece that I wrote last year. (see my blog... UPDATE OCTOBER 2008. COMPLETED A GREAT MILESTONE FORE A GREAT CAUSE

I recently participated in the Susan G. Komen 3 day breast cancer walk in <st1:city><st1:place>Philadelphia. I walked with my college buddy Leesa, who is a cancer survivor. She has battled and is winning various ypes of cancer (including breast cancer) since she was in her 20s. She is TRULY one of God's angels here on earth, and one of my personal SHEROS.
