Hello BlackPlanet Friends!

This is your boy D! Here in the chocolate city, Washington DC where I have lived for 5 years now. I am 33 years old and a graduate of Virginia Union University (VUU!!!!)

Just a little bit more about me. I am a fun loving, laid back brother that can be a great friend. I have one sister who lives in Minnesota and my mom lives in Richmond (I hate Richmond). I know a lot of people but I am only close to a few. If you are ever in DC you can find me at TAPATINI's (www.tapatinis.com) or at a Karaoke somewhere acting like I have a record deal.

Mostly I like to act a fool with friends. Everynow and again I get into a serious mood and say something important. I am known by my friends to listen well and speak my mind. Most of my friends appreciate my candor and have come to rely on my wit and wisdom when they have been going through trying times in their lives.

What you see is what you get with me. There won't be a lot of pretense or pretending. I am who I am and I am loved for who I am. More importantly, I love who I am. I am a seeker of truth, love, happiness and peace. I also try to help others see what I have found in my journey through life. I am far from perfect and perfectly fine with it.

But I am not good on the phone. I don't return calls as quickly as some would like and sometimes I just don't feel like answering it. But I will get back at ya eventually, so if you call me leave a message....LOL
