Life: The Championship Game

Life is a game. You never know what the final score will be. All you can do is give it your best, play every minute of it down to your last breath and hope that each play that you make is a great play that will lead you one step closer to your trophy.

As you progress from each round it?s going to get tougher and the defense will play a lot harder. You just got to hang in there. Blood sweat and tears, because when you?re losing your fans will hate you, and when you?re winning they will love you. You just have understand that the person you?re really playing for is yourself.

You?re the one in the field. The defense knocks you down, Get right back up. No matter how many times you fall, get right back up! Eventually the defense will get tired of knocking you down because you have out lasted them. So just as long you get up one more time than when you were knocked down you will prevail and your banner will be raised in the rafters because you have succeeded this game we call life and when they award you your championship trophy, you can hold it up in the air with pride because only you can truly know what you had to go through to achieve it.

Well once again we have come to the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. I hope we all have taken the time to sit back and reflect on what 2007 brought for us and I hope for many of us that it was exactly what we had asked for. I know there were hard times because whenever you want something you have to put in the work to get it. We have to fight through the hardships because it never comes easy but understand that the reward is much sweeter knowing that you sacrificed your blood, sweat and tears for it.

I know for me personally there were a few things that I needed to change in 2007. I know that I needed to surround myself with positive minded people, focused on my faith and become closer to the lord. Although I can say I have made lots of progress in my goals I know that there is always room for improvement. I pray that all of you can open up your eyes, but most importantly open up your minds and realize that we all have areas in our lives that we can continue to work on and improve for the better. 2007 has come and gone and for some it was good and maybe not so good for others but in order for 2008 to be great you have to decide right now that?s what you want.

LIFE

It?s amazing how we let life take total control of us sometimes that we don?t realize how fast it?s going until we stop and sit back and wonder where all the time went. I had one of those experiences recently where I happened to hear a song that made me reminisce about past events. It made me remember how happy I was at that moment. It made me think of the people I was around with at that moment and made me wonder where they are now. The reminiscing made me appreciate the little things in life more.

I always hear it said that people come in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. That is so true. Whether it?s in business or just personal relationships, I have seen so many people come and go, people who I thought would have been around for the long run but life had other plans for them. Regardless of which purpose it is I?ve learned to appreciate everyone I come in contact with because they all play a part in my life and without them I wouldn?t be where I am today or the person I have become. And because we never know how long a person will be in our life that makes it all the more reason to appreciate that person despite their flaws, if any.

The worst feeling to ever have is the feeling of regret. The feeling of ?if only I had done this? ?if only I took that opportunity.? ?If only... if only... if only.? Understand you can?t go back and change the past. You can?t go back to the ones you love once they have been lost. You can?t go back and say what I meant to say, what I meant to do, etc. We have to take every moment and cherish every minute as it comes. Let the loved ones know what they mean to us. Take the time to simply say ?Thank You? or even ?I Love You.?
Live today as if it was your last because tomorrow is never promised.

This is the year of new beginning. It's time to start thinking BIG so you can have BIG results. Let`s not continue to do the things that are hurting us. 2006 has come and gone and if it did not turn out the way you wanted it to then realize that you have to change what you do Now in 2007 in order to have a better 2008. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you want something different in life you have to be willing to do something different.
Now I know some may say 2007 just got here so why are we already talking about 2008? Well that`s because there is a process to get to your desired goal. It`s not going to happen right away and It`s not going to come easy but only those who don`t quit and are committed will get there. I once heard that "Success is not giving up even though common sense tells you to." You must Never quit! Think Big and Aim for the moon so that if you miss it you will at least be amongst the stars.

Who am I?
I am highly motivated and goal orientated. I'm all about business but I know when its time to kick off the shoes and have fun. I?m always looking to network and making new friends; business or social. I love to travel, go out to eat, movies, shoot some pool, bowling, but also don't mind spending quality time at home with that special someone.

What I look for in a partner?
I was always told that when you are looking for something you will never find it. Instead I am going to step back and stop looking. I am going to leave it up to God to send me the woman I destined to be with. Hopefully she is someone who is smart, caring, independent, beautiful, knows how to have fun but also knows when to be serious. Someone who is not afraid to speak her mind and express her emotions. Someone with a heart of gold.

Understand that even though things are not going as good as you would like them to just know that it's all a test. See you can't have a testimony without going through the test and so in life we will go through different stages of a "storm." You are either entering a storm, in the storm, or coming out of a storm and once you come out there will be nothing but sunshine at the other end. The most important thing is that you continue to hang in there. You are a strong individual and God is only testing your strength to see if your shoulders are strong enough to handle all the blessings that he is about to pour onto you.

A lot of us are hurting right now. We are stuck in places where we really don't have to be. Whether it's a bad relationship, a job, or just frustrated with life. People always talk about trying to make ends meet but don't realize that ends don't meet. They are called ends for a reason. In order for things to change you have to change. And so it's time to realize that you don't have to hurt, you have choices and options to do something about it. If you want a different result, a different outcome in life, then you have to be willing to do something different in the present time so that your past doesn't have to dictate your future.

The Two Choices We Face
