1/15/08....still getting ready for My show on Feb 13th...I want to thank all o the great sisters who have sent me notes of support and love!...I am training hard to make my music,body and soul better...I wish that I could give everyone a shot of energy and tell them that your day to day is your dream...Love it!!!And keep adding the things that make you feel beautiful and alive!Time for new pics soon....have dropped 2-3 lbs of body fat and cutting up the muscle....By the way I only way 170lbs....which is still trim...but definately bigger than the shots on this page...so I hope you will like?!...:)See you at the show? 12/23/07...Mix is done and I actually cried listening to my own playing!..I can still hear people telling me at 23 that the sounds and dreams in my head were impossible...nothing is impossible-just out of sight..gotta go find it...lol..I hope those of you who buy this new project love the violin,...because there is a lot of it!!..:)Been tapping everyday for an hour or two...watch out Savion G...lol..kidding,maybe..:)12/12/07...Recent soundtrack recording for the Movie Free Your Mind...all done and all the recording for my groove project is done....time to mix...how weird it is to play the piano,then pick up a cello,go directly to the harmonica,and then strap on my tap shoes....and find myself getting better at all of them simultaneously!.My preparation in my 20's was that I would be falling apart not getting better at everything in my 40's....They lie!!!..Nov 11.07..In the studio getting a Fiidla Jam Cd ready for the holiday...some great grooves with lots of Violin solos and crazy scatting and eastern improv stuff....stay tuned!!!....Thanks for stopping by!Its November 2 and my concert at UPenns Rotunda was a success!!Thanks to those of you who came out and bathed in the music...We will be back there on feb 13 08..(4014 Walnut st at 7pm).stay tuned.......Hey Black Planet. Fiidla here! ..:)Hope all is well with everyone and I wish you Peace and Joy!First things first....I recently cut off my LOCKS!....I've added 20lbs of muscle and its the first summer that the heat was not killing me..lol...I never seem to tire of learning new things and have stopped aging ...(probably due to my diet and of course through God`s many blessings)So..I`ve found it hard to relate to people who are old at 25 and almost dead at 45?People life is to be lived and enjoyed....Never!Never! stop cherishing this gift and take the time to love aloud!!And beware of those who will steal your joy.On health...I used to feel strange that I had never drank or smoked or used drugs and that I always seemed aware that I could connect my eating and lifestyle with my appearance..I AM SO GLAD THAT I STAYED THIS WAY!!!.The drama that I see everyone going thru as adults after abusing their bodies for 20 or more years is intense!..I am a artist who sings,plays at least 12 instruments including violin,piano,bass...ect ..(and I just added sitar to the list..:),Yes I dance also..lol.....I've been blessed to travel,perform,and educate in many countries...Life has been good.Remember there really is nothing that you can`t do with faith,belief,and...a whole lot of elbow grease...I didn't say it was easy... .
