Hello BP, welcome to IMNDMAN den, I was born August 12, 1960 Lordly, look who over forty, near five-0. I am a Leo, all the way through a lion with his heart open but his claws ready. I have traveled the world in made acquaintance with some great people along the way, I have many fun memories to last a lifetime. I retired from the US army in 2000 after 23 years of service, during the same year, my family lost my mother to cancer, and I separated amicably after 16 years of marriage to a very wonderful lady. I don't have kids, but I won't panic and run at the sight of them, I've tormented plenty of my nephews and nieces LOL. I graduated 2005 from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Social work. I work as a geriatric case manager, a job that I love and find very rewarding.

Drinking From My Saucer

I've never made a fortune, and it's probably too late now,
But, I don't worry about that much, I'm happy anyhow.
And as I go along life's journey, I'm reaping better than I sowed,
I'm drinking from my saucer, 'cause my cup has overflowed.

I ain't got a lot of riches, and sometimes the going's tough;
But, I've friends who love me and that makes me rich enough.
I just thank God for His blessings and the mercies He's bestowed;
I'm drinking from my saucer, 'cause my cup has overflowed.

I remember times when things went wrong and my faith got a little thin,
But then all at once the dark clouds broke and the sun peaked through again.
So Lord help me not to gripe about the tough rows that I hoed,
I'm drinking from my saucer, 'cause my cup has overflowed.

And if God gives me strength and courage when the way grows steep and rough,
I'll not ask for other blessings, I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy to help another bear his load,
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer, 'cause my cup has overflowed.
