Septermber 8, 2008~ The only way to have peace in a relationship is to know how to butter your own bread. -- Ra-Ha.........I was skimming through 'Acts of Faith' by Iyanla Vanzant and came across the above quote.  It describes me and the screen-name that I have carried for the last couple of years. Instead waiting for something that might not happen - Who better to pamper me than me? Should you read this and not agree.....send me a note and tell me why I should feel otherwise. 

I never claim to be someone that I am not or to have things that I don't.  I am who I am.  I am a unique creation made by God.  I will not compromise who I am or what I believe in to just to fit in, in hopes that someone will like me, or someone will love me.  I've learned that you can't always be what someone else wants and if you don't fit the bill of their expectations that you simply need to move on.  Life is too short to keep looking back.  The more you look back the greater your chances of stumbling over road blocks that will trip you up and hinder you from reaching your destination.

• I love who I am and only have time for those who are about having something in life and can be a positive influence.
• I am the mother of one Handsome little man. He is my world.
• You never know when or how God is going to bless you with what you have prayed for. Practice patience and let God lead you along your path. Trust me you won't be disappointed. I know this to be true from first hand experience. God has blessed me with a wonderful man and a step-daughter that I proudly add to my family.
• I enjoy a good and intelligent conversation. I enjoy being in the mist of those that can stimulate my mind. I don't have time for those who have their heads stuck in the clouds with no sense of direction.
• I've earned both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Business Administration. Trust and believe that I am MOVING ONTO BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS. I am an entrepreneur by nature and I've started my own company as a MK retailer/Beauty Consultant.
• I have learned to take life one day at a time and make each count like it might be my last. I am truly blessed everyday that God allows me to see another day. I consider myself to be a professional in everything that I do and no goal I set is unreachable despite the detours I might have to take. I love who I am and that is nothing that no one can change.
• I love to read, write poetry(sometimes),cook and entertain family/friends, travel, go fishing (it`s a country girl thing), listen to a variety of music, and meet new people.
