God`s Love Will Sustain Us

Thank you for the thorns that grow on the rose

And the turbulent bumps that cover the road

Thanks for the earthquakes that make the walls tremble

And the wind and the storms to whom all must surrender

Thank you for the mountains that stand tall and in our way

And for the desert that is dry, hot and void of rain

For the thorns protect our beauty and the bumps help slow us down

And the earthquakes that make us tremble separate the molehills from the

mound

The wind, which we can`t see, allows us to blow from here to there

While the mountain makes us stop and think "Will this get me anywhere?"

The desert in all her glory, that goes months without any rain

Shows that even at our lowest in God`s love we will sustain
