chokolate7          Still working on my page.                           What`s been going on with me, you`re probably wondering. Why am I still single? Well, this is the story. I have been involved with a man for the last year thinking that it was going somewhere. Not surprisingly, it is not. I seen signs early on, but you know how we ignore signs because we think that things will get better. THEY DON`T! I`m the type of female that gives her all to a relationship and expect the same in return. I feel if I give you 80%, you can AT THE VERY LEAST give me 50%. For some reason, some guys don`t see it that way. I am 31, he is 46. So going into this I`m thinking, this is an older man, so life will be very different from the young cats that I deal with. Well, I ran upon a 46 year old that had the mentality of a high school kid. It was bad. When I met him, he was down in his luck. No car, house, job, nothing. The red flag should have gone up then. But no, I figure, I`m going to try and be one of those women that are there when they are down to try and help them up. HA! He needed no help let him tell it. How many females do you know that do that nowadays? Hardly none! I`m not very materialistic. I have my own everything, so I really didn`t need anything from him. Just wanted to be an encourager. Well, now after a year and some months have gone by, I have decided, that I prefer my happiness over that nonsense. I have tried to be all that I can be for that individual, but now I`m done. You should learn something from everything that happens in your life. I have learned that people that don`t love themselves, can`t possibly give you the love that you deserve. I have a beautiful daughter that gives me all the love that any one person can give. Send me a note giving me your view on my situation for the past year.
