Sister Of Color!!!



In the begining there was Darkness, and The "GAOTU" said: Let there be "Light," and within this newly found "Light" there was created a "Void"...a "Void Of One" (VOO). After several days of travel: North, South, West and lastly Eastward, "VOO" remained alone in this "Void" of "Light", because "VOO" still could not see. Seeing this sadness within "VOO" the "GAOTU" said: Let there be "Color" within this "Light" to enlighten, nurture and bring many different shades of "Light & Colors" to "VOO", upon his journey of knowledge and wisdom. "VOO" traveled many days thereafter with "Color" along side, now able to see hundreds among thousands of different shapes, forms and lastly colors. These things that where revealed through the eyes of "Color" pleased "VOO" greatly, and The "GAOTU" was pleased as well by the joy, love and kindness that emerged between "VOO" and "Color"... Thus giving us a melting pot of many different colors in are individual lives, more so some than others. So as we Wake each morning, Sleep each night, and as the Sun chases the Moon, and the Darkness greets the Light, keep shinning my Sister, in all your shades of "Color." For without you there would be no me!!!

911: September 11th, 2001!!! As tears in mine eyes run down my face, Light still remain therein also my Heart. I shall seek new direction in His name Lord my God. We have lost many Mother`s, Father`s, Son`s, Daughter`s and Friend`s this day. But I know that our time here on Earth is only a resting place during our journey of Life. This young African manchild was very afraid, picking up a nearby rock, throwing this rock hitting the lion in the head, thus killing the Lion. The village peoples seeing this greatness within Cinque made him: Prince of his village¿ The movie & Book: Amistead & Jet Magazine...

"Just for Today"



Each of us needs outside emotional support- bits and pieces of philosophy. Some wise words we can use as anchors, hooks on which to hang our doubts.



Recently, I ran across this little essay-Author Unknown. It has helped me over some rough roads. I carry it in my wallet and read it everyday. Because it has served me so well, I want to share it with others.

Just for today, I will live through the next 12 hours and not tackle my whole life¿s problem at once.



Just for today, I will improve my mind. I will learn something useful. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration.



Just for today, I will be agreeable, I will look my best, speak in a well modulated voice, be courteous and considerate.



Just for today, I will not find fault with friends, relatives
or colleague. I will not try to change or improve anyone but myself.



Just for today, I will have a program. I might not follow it exactly, but I will have it. I will save myself from two enemies ¿hurry and indecision¿.



Just for today, I will character in three ways. I will do a good turn and keep it asecret. If anyone finds out, it won¿t count.



Just for today, I will do two things I don¿t want to do, just
for exercise.



Just for today, I will be unafraid. Especially will I be unafraid to enjoywhat is beautiful and believe that as I give to the world, the world will give back unto me.
