Peace and Blessings to you and yours. I have been on Blackplanet for awhile and feel its finally time to update my page and reveal a little about myself. First of all I am not a fan of complex situations i.e. (DRAMA). Sometimes life places us in situations that we have not planned or ready for, some decision can be avoided or made easier with some planning. Believe me I am a risk taker but the older we get the less (off the cuff) decision are made in a quick manner ( WISDOM)

I enjoy Blackplanet because I believe everyone has a story and need an outlet to express themselves.
Time to update my page a little. What i would like to talk about is TRUTHS. We all have our own version of the truth, however our own individual truths changes with time, places, events and situations. We have to acknowledge where we are in our lives, and the truths we choose to accept ( meaning what was acceptable at age 20 changes at age 25, 35 ect).

Noone wants to live in a life of poverty (spiritually,financially or emotionally). Our maker didn't guarentee us to have any of the material things we have or desire or have on earth. Its up to us to make the sacrafices to obtain our truth whatever the season. Some people are blessed to have a easier time than others but nothing is promised. We can aquire education, knowledge or things but that still isn't promised. Its up to us to manage our resources in an ever changing world. I say this because I read so many profiles and have discussions on what another person must have but have yet to read about folks working together to maintain/ manage resources. In my journey I can be guilty as well. This is the world we live in.

It is unfortunate but Relationships are based on a business deal ( what the other person is bringing or have) instead of what path we can walk together. Understanding that people come into your life for a season, reason or a purpose. Nothing is wrong if a person enters your life for a brief period of time but make sure for whatever reason you understand Your TRUTH and manage accordingly.

The only TRUTH that never changes is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH in which man/ woman has no input

How come everyone wants to be or confesses to be aBALLER or DIVA? Is it me or black folks have no desire to work together? What happened to Hard Work and Honest Living ? The one thing that must remain is the ability to unite and love as family. I am not an angel by any means but we seem to want to GET OVER on each other ( Its a shame ) We have no trust. It appears everyone is about the Hustle ( we have to do enough of that at the job much less to each other)

We live in a capitolistic society but by nature we are / need social interaction. As we become more and more integrated in the GLOBAL fabric of the world. The promises, obligations and dreams change. America cannot dictate by military might anymore. It is cheaper to build, assemble and maintain products that are made elsewhere. The days of being on a job and having a retirement changes every year. It really takes (2) to live the quote "american dream". Both must be on the same page rowing the same direction. Noone wants to live in poverty or struggle to make ends meet but why do we expect more from others without offering or considering potential ?

I am single , never been married ( I know my queen is out there somewhere), nor blessed with any children. I will be an EXCELLENT PARENT because Its something I desire ( with my queen).

I am more SPIRITUAL THAN RELIGIOUS ( I believe religion is man made.. spirituality is a special conversation with GOD)

I am the corporate type ( Been known to be a workaholic) To get what you want sometimes you have to be willing to put in the sacrafices. I strive for STABILITY but being in the technology field constant change seems to be the norm. Staying informed is a must these days. I do seek the ability to retire with a pension at the end of my working career but is that realistic these days? Everything seems to revolve around " just in time" or " rightsizing", with that being said I am not lazy nor fear hard work. I have to keep myself abreast of the latest business trends and prepare for the ever changing market.

I do know how to have fun and relax. I am a HUGE HOUSE music fan. You might have seen me in the spot grooving to the music and feeling the vibe. When I go out (not often) I am definately not a wallflower. I am the type that will dance by myself if I am feeling the music and want to dance. If you see me out, you know you will definately have a great time. I don't believe in the Baller type mentality nor do i degrate woman.

I enjoy stimulating conversation about complex issues. I am interested in learning more about politics ( Chicago it a contact sport), religion and the sacrafices we make as humans to exist in this world.

I prefer to debate that to argue When you argue you just want to be heard. When you debate you are open to other opinions and realities.

I consider myself a realistic dreamer. I always dream of the next level but find a realistic way of accomplishing my goals.

I have been blessed enough to build my first home a few years ago, however homeownership is no joke. I didn't realize all the Taxes, Fees, Associations and Upkeep. If you don't keep up they will tax or price you out.

I am a HUGE sports fan in fact a hobby of mine is to collect Sports memorabelia. I have a motto " if it sweats and wears a number I will watch it".
