During the summer of 2003 I lived and worked in Africa, in the West Africa country of Ghana. So, I want to share a bit of the experience with you and if you want to chat about it with me just send me a note.

~*~ I taught computer skills at a school in a small town called Ho (yea, you heard me correctly!) in the East Lake Volta Region. The name of the school was Christ, the Prince of Peace Junior Secondary School. These are some of my students ~*~












~*~ Before I started my work they gave all the workers in my group orientation into Ghanian culture. This is a group of drummers. ~*~












~*~ On my free time I visited a remote town called Amedzofe in the mountains. They are known for their waterfall and mount. Gemi. Amedzofe means "Origin of the people". Locals says that life began here and the people migrated out and expanded across Africa and on. ~*~












~*~ I visited a safari park in the northern region of Ghana were I saw loads of animals, particulary elephantes. They were everywhere! ~*~
