I think of beauty at its best, compared to the rest.

The foundation, the blueprint, the cradle of a nations, the essence of humanity, I think you`ll agree!

All different hues, shapes, sizes, and a variation of one dominant color Black-Mahogany, a part of you, a part of me.

The color of liberation, blood, sweat and tears, looking back through the years, her precious seed in the modern day "Eden", stop and give her props, because without her, where would we be?

Our void not filled, our being not complete, Once again, the Black Woman!



Reflections of Yesterday

When I woke up this morning, I thought about yesterday and how things were so crazy and nothing seemed to go my way.



I thought about not having any problems, to worry my tired and weary soul. I thought about not having anyone to lean on, no woman to hold.



I thought about the demands placed upon me as being a young Black Man, I thought about nuckas who go through life with no goals and no plans.



I thought about the Republicans now fully in control, I thought about asking God to rest my weary soul.



I thought about my son at school. Is he at recess having fun? I thought about thedays , when we didn`t have to worry about kids in school with guns.



I thought about voting, politics and fuc@ed up elections, I thought about not ever having to use viagra, cause I have a strong erection;-)



I thought about margins of victory and "dimpled chads", I thought about the people in Florida, Blacks and Jews alike all being mad.



I think that one day I may make my markon humanity, perhaps lending a hand to end all this insanity.



Then I realized That yesterday, is today`s, tomorrow..............
