SOOOOOOOOOO
A Poem About Our Girlfriends

Someone will always be prettier.
Someone will always be smarter.

Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.

Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix
more things around the house. So let it go, and
love you and your circumstances. Think about it!

The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.

The most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.

The richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes~ might be lonely.

And the Word says, 'If I have not Love, I am nothing.' So, again, love you.

Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,

'I am too Blessed to be Stressed and too Anointed, to be Disappointed!'

'Winners make things happen~~ Losers let things happen.'

Be 'Blessed' Ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman.

'To the world you might be one person, to me you are special!

HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL MY WONDERFUL SISTERS OF MINE

AND MAY OUR HEAVENLY FATHER CONTINUE TO OPEN YOUR HEARTS AND MINE TO LOVE OF OTHERS, TO BE GIVERS, SPREADING HIS WORD AND THAT YOU RECEIVE ALL THE BEAUTIFUL BLESSINGS HE HAS IN STORE FOR YOU.

Life should NOT be a journey to
the grave with the intention of

arriving safely in an attractive and

well-preserved body, but rather to

skid in sideways, chocolate in one

hand, wine in the other, totally worn

out and screaming 'WOOO HOOOOO

what a ride!' To the Girls !!

The hardest years in life are those between ten and seventy. ~ Helen Hayes (at 73)~

I refuse to think of them as chin hair. I think of them as stray eyebrows. ~ Janette Barber~

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt and call me over!

To the Girls !!

A White Rose

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.
But I send you a cream-white rosebud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

Before you send roses this Valentine's Day, check out
the meaning of the various rose colors below
to find the one that most perfectly represents your true feelings.
The color and number of roses that you give have special significance. Learn what each color represents, and how many you should give to express your innermost feelings. Find out the true "Meaning Of Roses"!

Lets look at the meaning of color first.

Red Roses ; love, passion, I Love You;Red: roses given says "I love you still" ~~White Roses innocence, purity, reverence, humility White: They also represent youthfulness and charm.~~Pink: To give pink roses shows grace, joy, and gratitude.~~ Pale pink also has the meaning of fun attached to it.~~ Pink Roses, grace, gentility, perfect happiness~~Light Pink Roses admiration, sympathy~~Dark Pink Roses gratitude, appreciation

Valentines day, when for a married couple, actually
~~7 or 10 might be a better choice. (slightly cheaper as well! ;-)

~~13:A sign of enduring friendship

~~15: Im sorry

~~To give a mix of red and white roses.
This shows unity, and togetherness.

~~Pink and red rosebuds. Young and lovely...perhaps
the perfect gift for a young lady?

~~Two roses put together to form a single stem means an impending engagement or marriage
.~~A single red rose in full bloom paired with two red rosebuds means secrecy.
~~One red rose combined with several yellow roses
means joviality and is an invitation to excitement and fun.

Rose stem leaves are a symbol of hope.

..... I BELIEVE:
that you should Never argue with an idiot.
The people watching might not know the difference.

-That true friendship continues to grow, even over the
longest distance. Same goes for true Love.

-That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

-That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

-That my best friend and I can do anything or
nothing and have the best time

-That it's taking me a long time to become the person
I want to be.

Never let anyone tell you it can?t be done.

-That you can keep going long after you can't.

That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

-

-That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

-That regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship
is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.

-That heroes are the people who do what has to be done
when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

-That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

-That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

-That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

-That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

-That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last
time you see them.

-That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

-That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

-That maturity has more to do with what types of
experiences you've had and what you've learned from them
and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

-That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache

-That our background and circumstances may have influenced
who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

-That just because two people
argue,it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

-That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret.
It could change your life forever.

-That two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

-That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

-That even when you think you have no more to give, when
a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

-That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

-That just because someone doesn't love you the way you
want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

-That you should send this to all of the people that you believe in...I just did
IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck

(written after she found out she was dying from cancer).

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go
into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room an d worried much less about the dirt
when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because
my hair had just been done.
I would have sat on the lawn with my kids and not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was

guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized
that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, 'Later. Now go get washed up for
dinner.' There would have been more 'I love you's' More 'I'm sorry's..'

But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute ; look at it and really see it . .
live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!!

Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what
Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.
If you don't mind, send this on to all the women you are grateful to have as friends.
Maybe we should all grab that purple hat earlier.

Kept Woman:
HELLO! I Am a 'Kept ' Woman You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind, But GOD kept me sane. (Isa. 26:3)
You [God] will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast [stayed on thee, KJV], because he trusts in you.? There were times when I thought I could go no longer, But the LORD kept me moving. (Gen 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong, But the LORD kept my mouth shut.. (Psa. 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough, But GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc.., (Matt. 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall, HE kept me up. When I thought I was weak, HE kept me strong! (I Pet. 5:7, Matt. 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!
I'm blessed to be 'kept ' Do you know a 'kept ' woman? If so pass it on to her to let her know she is 'Kept '
I'm "Kept" by the Love and Grace of God Have a Blessed Week ALL!
Let's keep encouraging one another in these tough times!

Life Lessons from Women of the Bible By Claudia Mair Burney For centuries they've inspired,
enlightened, and empowered us. With their unadorned faith, the women of the Bible
continue to teach us how to live authentic, God-touched lives. No matter what our spiritual
traditions are, we can find ourselves in their stories. Here are 11 Biblical women
whose lives are as relevant today as they were when they were first recorded.

Eve, the Mother of All Living Genesis 2:4b and 3:1-24 Eve's story reminds us that
women can be both creative and destructive She teaches us to weigh our choices
carefully, tempering our desires with wisdom.

Hagar, the Stranger Welcomed by God
Genesis 16:1-16 and 21:1-21
If you are disenfranchised, despised, or despairing, listen for the voices of
angels. You may find your courage is only a prayer away.

Rahab, a Harlot with a Heart of Gold Joshua 2:1-24 Lest you think her actions were
manipulative, consider how offering assistance to the spies put her own
life in peril. But Rahab recognized the divine favor that rested
upon the men. She boldly asked for and received what she desired. Rahab teaches us
to use our wiles effectively and with great love. After all, the life you save may be your own.

Deborah, the Warrior Princess Judges 4 & 5 Deborah inspires us to trust our
wisdom and instincts and to humbly accept always remember and respect the power of a woman.

Jael, the Ordinary Woman with the Heart of a Lion Judges 4:17-22 and 5: 6, 24
Jael's story lets us know sometimes a girl has to slay the giants in her life,
using whatever crude tools are available. Jael's hands may have been bloodied in the
process, but Israel experienced 40 years of peace because of her lion-hearted act.

Ruth, the Lovely Friend The Book of Ruth Ruth's lesson to us? Steadfast love and loyalty may
just lead you into a glorious destiny.

Bathsheba, from Lust Object to Queen Mother 2 Samuel 11:2, 3, 12:2, I Kings
11:31, 2:13-19, I Chronicles 3:5
Bathsheba would be remembered not only for her early indiscretion,
but also for her wisdom and leadership as Queen Mother. She teaches us that mercy
can be the beginning of a brave new life, and that we all must carry our grief, release it, and live again.

Esther, a Clever Queen The Book of Esther Esther reminds us to be imaginative,
as well as courageous. We don't always have to fight to get what we want;
sometimes we just have to outwit our adversary.

Mary, the Mother of Jesus Luke 1:26-38, 1:39-56, 2:1-7, 2:21-38, 2:41-52, 4:16-30, 8:19-21
Mary was the first disciple of Christ. She had to believe in him before anyone else.
Her faith in Jesus was not a product of her extraordinary actions. It was a gift
. Her lesson to us is that we must let go of the notion that we create .
faith based on our works. God gifts us with faith, which makes our good works possible

Mary Magdalene Matt. 27:55-56, Mark 14:40-41, Matt. 28:1-9, John 20:18
With Mary as our example, we can follow our passions with everything
within us, fearlessly, no matter what obstacles we encounter.

Photini, the Woman at the Well John 4: 1-30 Living water must have sounded good
to the ex-wife of five, now shacked up with a sixth paramour. She took a long,
deep drink, never to thirst again. Photini became one of Christianity's
earliest evangelists, telling everyone she knew what Jesus had done.
She teaches us that no matter how parched our dry soul places,
love can make a surprising appearance and quench all our thirsts
.

somebody values your advice.

A Good Woman
A good woman is proud of herself.

If you want to make a woman nervous, just put <br />
her in a room with a hundred hats and no mirror
She respects herself and others.

She is aware of who she is.
Beauty... Brains... Style...

She neither seeks definition from the person she is
with, or does she expect them to read her mind.

KUJICHAGULIA - to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for
ourselves and speak for ourselves!

She is quite capable of articulating her needs.

A good woman is hopeful.

She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true.

A good woman has a dash of inspiration,

She knows love, therefore she gives love.

She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated.

If her love is taken for granted,

it soon disappears.

a
dabble of endurance.

She knows that she will, at times,
have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them.

A good woman knows her past,

understands her present

and moves toward the future.

A good woman knows God.

She knows that with God the world
is her playground, but
without God she will just be played.

A good woman does not live in fear
of the future because of her past.

Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons,

meant to bring
her closer to self knowledge and unconditional self love.

Lyrics | TLC lyrics

When Your Hut's On Fire
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited
island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him. Everyday he scanned
the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he
eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him
from the elements, and to store his few possessions.
One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut
in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had

happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief,
and anger. He cried out, "God! How could you do this to me?"
Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island!
It had come to rescue him!
"How did you know I was here?," asked the weary man of his rescuers.
"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

The Moral of This Story:

It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart,
because God is at work in our lives.... even in the midst of our pain and suffering.
Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground.
It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of God.

P. S. You may want to consider passing this on,
because you never know who feels as if their hut is on fire today

HATS OFF TO WOMEN

Wool tapestry, 'Women in Hats'

Working in soft earthen tones, Francisco Huaynate creates a handloomed tapestry of elegant details. Women walk together toward an unseen destination in the quiet night. Traditional clothing, wide-brimmed hats and long braids identify these people with their Andean homeland.

I AM A MATURE WOMAN THAT JUST DECIDED TO WEAR HATS
I am not worried about my wrinkles because every line in my face
is like a mark left by a living experience.

I am a mature woman...
that opens her space out of the invisibility

I am a mature woman that just decided to wear hats.
When the heads of the youngest turns to look at me smiling or maybe laughing and asks, Where are you going?I say, to work like everyday but I am reinventing my days and what is a routine I have to convert it in a FEAST.

For the ones that ask me "What is your mania lately of wearing hats?
I answer, "It is because of menopause, at this stage some cries, others get hot flashes, I ... just decided to wear hats!

And as the poet Jenny Joseph wrote... "When I am an old woman I shall wear purple with a red hat which doesn't suit me, and pick the flowers in other people's garden and run my stick along the public railings " ... to hear the noise and to let MYSELF be heard...

so...I am a mature woman that just decided to wear hats, big hats, little hats, with veil, without, also gloves... and spend the day buying lace ,crystal beads, and again dress up in front of the mirror like those gone days when we were little and play dress up with the high heels of mom PLAYING THE GAME OF THE GROWN UP PEOPLE and laughing without stop.
So little we knew how serious was the grown up life...how little we knew about the responsibilities that were waiting ahead, about the broken dreams like soap bubbles, of the sleepless nights, of the many good byes, about how HARD it was to attain triumphs and how fast it fades...But now I am a mature woman, menopausic, without too much sense(how neat)
I put on my big hat, I look at the mirror and say "I paid my duties to the grown up life, now, I am free, menopausic and free I will dress up in purple and with my red hat I will decorate my life until the end.

The Road to Glory: Finishers Club(excerpt)
George B. Thompson
There is lot that happens on the journey to success. Today I want to give you some quick tips to encourage you to keep going until you reach your goal. I am often amaze that many of us have similar goals such as financial stability, health, a home, good education and a good job. While we might have similar goals the path to the finish line will look different.

Road Map for the Finishers Club.

Fight Club (Don?t Give In or Give Out): Nothing in life is easy, you are going to have to fight for it. If you get knocked down just get back up again and keep swinging. Stay focus on your target no matter what position you are in. Remember you were not made to break. Keep Trying.

Wax On, Wax Off: (Discipline or Discipleship): We often think of discipline as punishment however discipline is also the practice of training people to obey rules. Training is a good thing. Take a course, or go to s seminar. Make sure you are always on ?A? game updated on the latest trends and technology.

Objects in This Mirror Appear Closer Than You Think (Optical Illusions): Life is full of obstacle illusions. (quote by Grant Frazer) An optical illusion is visually perceived image that is deceptive and misleading. When you are on this journey you are going to face obstacles, challenges and hurdles that are going to appear huge in your mind remember it is an illusion because you have never blazed this trail before. Tell yourself that ?you can do it? and ?just do it? until you get over it, go under it and go through it and reach the other side.

May I Have Your Attention (Focus): There are so much noise competing for your attention that will try to distract you from your course. Ask yourself is this getting me closer to my dreams or taking me further away from it. Stay focus. It is important that you eliminate everyone and anybody that is going to try to discourage you. Also. you might have to make some sacrifices and go to bed early or stay at work late. You know what sacrifices that you will have you make. Remember it is temporary.

Mind Blowing Decisions (Prepare Your Mind): You have to make up your mind and determine that you are going to make it. One of my favorite scriptures I mediated while I was building my business is Luke 5:5. I had determined that I was going to do what ever it took to be successful and exceed everyone?s expectations. Sometimes determination will cause you to take drastic steps towards your goal. I wanted to be without excuse and do what ever it took to be successful in the field.

Life Support (Support System): There are parts of this journey that you are going to just have to tough it out alone for one reason or another. However, you don?t have to make the entire journey by yourself. My mom was my biggest cheerleader when I was having a bad day I knew I could call her and she would say something that would encourage me. Keep a close friend or family near by just to cheer you up on the journey. I promise you will need them.

The Challenge:
What can you learn from people's private struggles on their journey to success? For one you learn that the road is not going to be easy it is going to be tough and you are going to have to fight for it.
It is my desire that you are inspired to be good steward over these three areas of your life: Time, Talent, Treasure. Time, you must learn to manage your time; talent you have skills and gifts and lastly treasure, your finances need to managed appropriately. All of these areas work together, when they are managed properly you will be able to become A BETTER YOU!

By the way the picture at the top is what I put above my desk along with the Scripture Luke 5:5.

Time for Some Man-Watching

Remember : You Don't Stop Laughing Because You Grow Old,

You Grow Old Because You Stop Laughing
To
Be 6 Again...
A
man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking
at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday
was not far off he asked what she'd like to have
for her Birthday. "I'd
like to be six again," she replied, still lookingin the mirror.

On
the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, and made
her a nice big bowl
of
Lucky Charms and then took her to .
What a day!
He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five
hours later they staggered out of the theme park.
Her
head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He
then took her to a McDonald's
where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate. Then
it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!
Finally
she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He
leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well
Dear, was it like being six again? "

Her
eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.
I meant my dress size, you retard!!!

The moral of the story:
Even when a man is listening, he is gonna get it
