NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION...Loose weight and more traveling!
I have decided...if you like to travel...it's time to get out into the world and see some more thangs! I will no longer limit myself to my community and what it doesn't have to offer. I relish spontaneity! You DIG?
So here is a poem I wrote for yall to get to know a lil bit bout me...I call it WOMAN.
WOMAN...in an idiom: To be free from restrictions, control, or dictatorial influence; be independent.
...in an adjective: Female, of women; womanly
...in a noun: The nature, characteristics, or feelings often attributed to women; womanliness
Independent to the tenth power
Petty conversation, I devour.
Those without experience, need not apply,
Self-confidence and intelligence, in heavy supply.
Not enough time for childish games, Too many applicants, to remember names.
Thugs and pimps, take a right.
No space available for players tonight.
No sex on the beach or long island ice tea,
A little more sophistication to drink with me.
Secure with good credit, don't need a co-signer,
Not one man with great stature, could be my definer.
Possessor of essence with a twist of finesse,
No past baggage to get off my chest.
Jealous or possessive, don't bother past this line,
Liars and cheaters are no friends of mine.
I am a WOMAN, so come correct!
No tolerance for ignorance, or disrespect!

Things I've learned and LIVE by...

~Have sense of humor, mostly serious...(meaning just a REAL person who keeps it REAL 24/7)
~Love a mental challenge/verbal debate (I back up what I say)
~Poet by heart, artist by nature (I was born this way, I can't help it)
~Old soul, no immature drama (I can smell a youngin afta one convo...test me)
~Love to laugh, travel, try new things (life is short and then you die...WILL visit my homeland b4 I check out)

I was born on Valentine`s Day some 30yrs. ago! Needless to say, I`m a big sweetheart and full of affection. I have been there and done that, no games, no insults please. If you have some poetry to share or lines to drop, feel free. Keep it respectful and right back atcha! BULLCHITTERZ take a LEFT!
*ALERT*
Folks who live their lives as a hustle, turn me OFF completely...You can't go very far on scams and others favors, accountability and self-preservation go a LONG way...So come to the table with YOURS and maybe, just maybe we might connect on some levels...I only expect grown folk to understand where I'm coming from with this. When I say grown I mean by experience and wisdom, not by numbers, youngins!

~~One more thing I've learned this year...when you are "mixed" like me, there is no such thing as ETHNICITY. I just found out that not only am I Cape Verdean and Native American, but I am also French, Portuguese, and Jewish...go figure. So, with that said, I pray we as a BLACK NATION learn to look past features and just embrace and enjoy the diversity we all bring to the table.
