I'm not ready to delete the previous personal message, but I'm ready to move it to the bottom. I've got to accept I will attract as.sholes and angels. Thanks to the authentic individuals I happen to meet along the way. I will interact with the jerks any day to find a true friend every now and then, the reality is those who live this life authentically still exist, and those who don't are doing so because they have been blinded, please let them see the light. I'm going to do something different. I'm going to go against what's normal, and be transparent. I've had great relationships that haven't ended up with children or marriage. I'm fine with that. At 31 I'm fortunate, I've lived freely. I just want to tell my brothers why I'm single I get that question a lot. People don't want to take the time to get to know each other anymore. After the on to the next one mentality has permeated the mindset of black men, the black woman must comply or hide. I hide. The story is told of how the black woman had to put the body parts of the black man together. Collectively he is not ready, or willing to do the same for her. Can you understand that I'm a victim of society, so are you. You think you are free because its easy to look at porn, and get a date. You think all women are %#&@$!s, and when you meet a good one, you don't want to stop your destructive behaviour long enough to love her back. Then you call her bitter, when she is just frustrated, and no longer knows how to see you, because you only see her shell. It's so sad I wish my brothers would change. :(
