What`s up BlackPlanet?!! I want to send greetings to everyone on here. I definitely want to send BLUE AND WHITE LOVE to the often imitated, but never duplicated, constantly envied, and the ONLY constitutionally bound black greek lettered organizations, the lovely sisters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the handsome brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.!!! I love you all! I also want to show love to the other greeks. For those of you all that stereotype greek organizations, forget what you heard about Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma. We are diverse, intelligent, and unique. For your information we come in all beautiful shapes, sizes, and colors. No, we are not all fat, ugly, gay, or country! Different faces for different places and that includes all of the greek organizations. We definitely need to erase these negative stereotypes.
A little bit about myself. I am a graduate from the University of Georgia with my BSEd (Bachelor of Science in Education) in Health Promotion and Wellness!! I received my Masters in Social Work May 2003 at the University of Georgia!!!
The youth today are definitely our future. Instead of labeling or discouraging our youth, we need to encourage and guide them in a positive direction. No matter how difficult a child may be, remember to always exhilarate positive behaviors toward the child. You never know whatthe child is experiencing at the time. Loving a child is the most precious gift that he/she can ever receive. Negative behavior, such as ignorance is learned and usually begins at the home. The positive or negative images that you display in front of a child at home or where ever, is what that child is going to imitate.
