Bent in prayer and trying hard everyday to stay in the Graces of my
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Keep me in your prayers as I will
always keep you in mine. I have four heros in my life who are alive
and well, Olivia, Lawrence and Alexandra, my kids and their mother,
Doris. Doris and I have been separated for over 18 years and remain
best of friends. Olivia, my oldest, is a 2K graduate from
Dartmouth, who then went on to complete her Master`s Degree at Yale
University, School of Environmental Studies, (Forestry). Lawrence,
my only son, is in his senior year at Delaware State University.
Lawrence is a drummer and vocalist, majoring in Music Education.
Lawrence is also in the military, where he completed his basic
training in GA and his advanced training in Missouri. Alexandra, my
baby, just completed her freshman year at, Howard University. Let
me add this little chest buster, all of my kids, fluently play
three to eight instruments and they are all involved in a Praise
Ministry in various capacities. Jesus will always be my No.1 HEro.
So people, you now know about some Blessings the Lord has given me.
I`m a retired government worker, who worked in the area of law
enforcement for 29 years. Now, isn`t that a wonderful blessing?
Retired at age 51. Great health, I have a passion for solving
complicated puzzles, weapons (range shooting and safety), mountain
bike riding, camping, fishing and working out in the gym. I also
enjoy all phases of home improvement from carpentry to plumbling to
electricity. I enjoy listening to gospel, oldies and jazz and I
love to dance...Cha cha anyone?....how about the Bop?... This is
who I am, keeping it real and trusting in His Word.
Disagreeing without being disagreeable is a wonderful stimulant for
the body and soul of any relationship.
The music I`m feeling....anything by Fred Hammond, Temptations,
Smokey Robinson, Hezekiah Walker, Richard Smallwood, Regina Carter,
Lee Ritnour or Kirk Whalum.
An embarrassing moment....it happened on a gospel cruise in
Baltimore, MD.
The reason my friends like me....they say, "they just do."
The most "exciting" moments in my life.... when I was Saved, when
my kids were conceived and being present, in the delivery room,
when they were born.
A Book I recommend that is action packed, full of romance parables
and real life stories, THE BIBLE.
