personal message

I haven't been on BP since like 2001but I come back every once in a
while so dro pme a note. About me... ummmm... lol.... I like the
art of being silly. I'm one of those people that seems to get along
with anyone. You know even the people you shouldn't. Growing up I
always got in trouble. Not "I think we need to get him some kind of
help" type of trouble but 'you know you need to go sit your
%#&@$! down" type of trouble. I think I was ADD or something
lol (no offense if you are) but all in all I made it to the other
side of 2000 (I did it I did it). Though a lot of people thought I
wouldn't I haven't killed me, yet, thank God. Like I wrote earlier
I can usually get along with anyone with the exception of a--holes,
grudge carriers, and people that can’t seem to
discuss something without arguing. You know the type. They ask a
question and get mad because someone doesn't agree with them. I
have strong beliefs too but if a person doesn’t
agree with me I could careless but at least have a viewpoint. You
can’t argue without stating your own viewpoint.
I believe you have to respect people first. Most people believe you
have to earn it. I believe respect and honor are learned to some
degree. Everyone hasn't been given the same lessons that would
allow them to respect others first. If given respect most people
give it back in relation to what was given. This is where honor and
love for community is built. I’ve worked hard
to stay true to who I am regardless of what people might think of
me but for some reason still reluctantly find time to waste in
wondering why a particular person might not like me. But yet and
still I feel we have a universal right to be respected. Whether you
are aware of that right or not is immaterial. I reserve the option
of smacking the sh out a disrespectful person. That reservation is
in comforting even if seldom used in response. Most people know how
far they can push it with a person. Growing up around the way I
learned that if you allow someone to walk over you once they will
continue to do so. Having a free spirit around Desolation Row and
Dodge City can be an interesting way of learning to be a Man here
in America. In America people seem to connect to black, white,
straight, gay (and no there is no Gay closet), fake, extreme,
Christian, Jew, Hiphop, rock, punk, and this or that. I don't think
the universal Self can be describe or grouped together as easily as
most of us think. I like to hear a persons name and go from there.
Take people as they come. I love to study any subject that i might
find interesting with my favorite being World History; culture,
music, and theology (this is my nerd side coming out). My newest
found art form is that of doing nothing. Zoning out. Its like we as
people are always looking to find something to do or find the next
best thing no matter what we might have. I think for now, when and
if we learn to love ourselves its easier to be comfortable anywhere
we choose for our body to go. Ok, I'm talking too much. Anyway, the
picture of me in red is recent. What else…
ummm… I meet with others at 420 by the
graffiti bridge in Stoptripping Park. Toast to those who do the
same. Don't hate me too bad for not walking your way but I found it
easier to do it my way. It’s like the radio and
tv. We all listen to different stations and watch different shows.
All different frequencies and speeds of light we all travel in
mind. I use to get frustrated but now I see the harmony of it all
if we let it happen. Respectfully. Anyway, yeah i get trippy. Drop
a note, say wazzup, tell me a joke, ask me a question, give me an
online hug but do me a favor and love yourself enough to forget
about self for awhile pursue freedom for a while you might just
find you never had. It’s a pretty trippy
thought but I think we can handle it.
