Now for alittle bit about me... First i would like to say this before i begain. If you wish to send me a note please have a profile with a picture on here. other wise i won't read your note!!! After all it's not fair for me to waste my time reading a note from a person(s) who has deleted their profiles. Hello, Blackplanet... a friend of mine told me about this website some time ago.. so I decided to join. and I am so glad that I did.. I have met some beautiful ladies on here.. in side and out (ladies you know who you are).  A note to the brothers!! : any bad notes sent to me using bad language will be reported to bp. So if your not educated enough to read my page without getting upset then you would be wise not to read it. A note to the Sisters: " A educated woman never has to show, shake or use her body to get ahead" To the Hip Hop Fans: The Stop Snitching campaign is down right dumb!! Any one who supports it is not thinking clearly. Suppose one day one of your family or friends gets killed over something stupid. And the police can?t seem to find the suspects on their own and they need the support of the community. Someone needs to come forward and say something. Weather its publicly coming forward or come forward in private. Some one must come forward, sometime. Because if we as a community where you live dont come forward then the crooks will win!! And black on black crime will continue. Do you want that to continue on in your neighborhood? If your answer is no then if you see a crime call the cops or go down to the police station privately and report what you have seen or even heard. But, if you want the crime to continue then just sit on your lazy butts and continue to look the other way and do nothing. But one day it is gonna come directly to your door and your not gonna be able to just look the other way. You are gonna want someone to come forward and say something that will help a suspect get put in jail and guess what. Nobody is gonna come forward!! you will have a dead son or daughter or mother and father. The crook will have gotten away and all you will left is pain. And the killer or killers will be laughing in your faces!! And guess what, there gonna do again because they know won't nobody come forward and tell on them. And finally, to the guys that says. "I gets mine" If you don't have the title (the car in question) to it or the riing on the lady in question finger or have the deed (a house) to it then. IT"S NOT YOURS!!! Which means you have no business touching it, using it, in any kind of way. To the High school Srs: Now what i am about to say are to the high school seniors that are about to get out of school, that want to make something out of themselves. And what i am about to say will effect you the most and it will effect you really quick. While school is out and you have just graduated from high school do all that you can to keep your record clean. Don't be breaking into people's houses or stealing there cars or robbing people at gun point. Don't do any type of crime at all. In fact don't let your friends talk you into doing anything stupid. Because, once you have a record. It's over! ! ! ! Not a single company will higher you after finding out that you have a criminal record. And if you do lie and tell them that you havent done any time etc...and you apply for a job anyway and get the job then sooner or later all it takes is for you to tick off your boss. And he or she does a back ground check on you and they find out that you have lied to them. They're gonna fire your butt. I know i have seen it done. To the guys and gals who already have records dunno what to tell ya. The best thing you guys can do is warn the younger people coming up behind ya about this so they won't have to deal with this. Also, did you know that every 29 seconds a high school student drops out of high school ! ! And that percentage of students never make it to college !!! The young black men stand on corners and sell drugs, steal cars and other things and end up in jail. They wouldn't have to do that had ya guys stayed in school. and the black females become baby factorys. They get fooled by the young boys that don't have any type of goals set for themselves. Both allow lust to talk to them and never think about what there really doing. Both of ya young black males and females should ask your self this question. "Why would i want to have kids at such a young age when none of ya have the money to take care of the baby's you bring into this world?" and over have of ya aren't even taken care of good yourself. Living in homes that most people wouldn't live in but you want to bring a child up in a house like that. But, i say one thing for you guys. You may not know when to have children at the right times in your life but you sure know how make sure your hair gets done. I have seen some black females living in the most God awful places but they will spend their money to get their hair done instead of trying to find a good place to live. I guess the best way to give ya guys a picture of that is to put it like this. Picture a very pretty ebony queen dressed to the 9's from head to toe. hair done right. nails done, clothes done up right. And she lives in the city dump ! !! In Proverbs chapter 13, verse 11 says "wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall increase." Love=Is of God,Can wait,Selfless,Giving Rightous,Moral,Peaceful,develo ps Lust = Is of the world,must have it now,selfish,taking,simple,immo ral anxious,destroys Now that you know the difference between love and lust. May you all find a wonderful mate(bp guys and gals) My favorite quote: "Get busy living or get busy dying." That is so true .. from the movie: The Shawshank Redemption.  A negro is a person that will: 1. Steel from ya. 2. Knock ya in your head and take your stuff. 3. Will wait until you leave your home and break in your home etc.. A black person is: 1. A person that will go to school or college. 2. Will take any kind of job that will allow himself or herself to get ahead. 3. Will not steal from you. So, I have to ask the question which kind of person are you? Are you a black person or a negro? The Techo news: Have you heard of the new dvd formats that are to appear in the future HD-DVD and Blu-ray? Well if not you will and according to cnet.com it should be here by mid 2006. And the reason why I`m posting this is because both formats may hold alot more information then your current dvd formats does right now. But the newer formats that are to appear do not work with each other and both require you to buy new hardware to play them. And not all of the movies studios support both formats at the same time and I might add that your old movies may not play in the new players either. So if you can make yourself hold on to the older dvd formats don`t buy either of the newerformats!!!! The newer formats sounds like nothing but trouble to me and the HD-DVD format supports some kind of copy protection thing too. And that means to all of the brother`s and sister`s that if you can make illegal copies of dvd`s now, with the new format coming you won`t be able too!!!! And with millions of us whohave bought dvd players and recorders already. This means the recorders and players we have now won`t play or record on the newer formats either. Also, I have just read that anybody that has cox cable and doesn`t have cox digital cable yet had better start working on getting it by 2009. Because when 2009 gets here all of the channels will be going digital and that means your regular tv sets won`t be able to receive any of the channels that digital cable offers without having a digital box on top of your tv sets. Or what you can do is buy a digital ready tv which runs $1,800 dollars and up!!! Dunno about the rest of the USA but this does effect all of oklahoma users of the cox cable service. Update on the digital cable: Dont buy a digital TV just yet that has a CableCARD slot because the ones that they have out now only supports one way connections with the new digital cable service. Which means, you can't buy pay per view items or have the interactive menus that the set-top-box offers. But newer cards are being made as we speak the Multi-Stream CableCARD (M-CARD). Is being made right now by Motorola. Dont know if your local cable service will work with them or not. But it sure would be a shame if they don't. Also, what most people don't know that the cablecards and the set-top-cable boxes. Those types of devices keep people's personal info on there. Kind scary that they would need that type of info just to watch TV. A lot of people just don't know how much control the cable TV companies have control over what you record or what you can't record already. Just try and record a TV show or movie that is copy right protected. Your VCR or digital video recorder or even your DVD recorder will just stop recording as soon as you hit the record button. I know I tried to record one night one of those 1940???s black and white murder mystery movies and thinking, Alright, I get to record this now and look at it and enjoy it later. Well as soon as I hit the record button. My recorder just stopped and the power to it was cut off. Yep you read right, it just went completely off. I could turn it on again and everything but. It wasn???t going to record that movie no matter what I did!!!! Remember the good old days when you can just pop in a videotape and tape anything you wanted? Well guess what those days are about to come to an end. With digital cable and HDTV out now. It???s not about how clear the picture is. Well HDTV might be. But, digital cable TV is all about copy protecting copyrighted material!!!! While it makes the cable companies millions. And as consumers we better enjoy the ability to copy and listen and to play music like we can now. Because it is only a matter of time before they figure out a way that a song can be played but not copied. Don???t think there not working on it because they are!!! It's only a matter of time before they figure out how to let the music play and people can't copy it. Warning: If your dating a person who is from another country you had better do some testing to see if your relationship with him or her is true love or are they using you to get themselves a green card ! ! ! 1. sign number one they might be after a green card is. they will take alot of photos with your family and friends. 2. sign number two they might be after a green card is. they will make sure the photos they take will be taken by a normal camera (none digital camera). because INS doesn't except digital photos!!! 3. And the clearest sign of all is they're after a green card is. they're attitude changes from wanting to be with you and being loving to you to wanting alot of time away from you(getting closer to the time there green card gets to be Permanent) then you know there just using you. From getting some to getting none. There using you ! ! ! 4. If they talk about getting married alot. And if there in a hurry to get married. then you know they might be using you to get a green card. Because nobody falls in love within a weeks time ! ! ! Nobody..... and alot more other things you will have to watch out for. and you have to take that on a case by case bases. After all each person is different and the games they play just to get here will vary. Some will just leave as soon as there green cards get there. and others will wait as long as 5 years to leave just to throw you have there trail. So be careful !! The only way to be safe dealing with something like this is to ask them if they have there green card already. and if they don't want to show it to you or if they never can produce one to show you. then drop him or her like they're hot. lol because if you don't. you will be soon finding yourself running out of money and wasted alot of time helping them get stuff they need to stay in america thinking there gonna spend the rest of there life with you and only have them to run out on ya when they get their green cards. Is a very bad feeling to have to go threw!! Going threw that is like buying something you can't keep. And i know how my fellow black people hate wasting money and there time!!! SO BE CAREFUL out there people !!! it hasn't happen to me but i sure seen people on tv and a few cousins that it has happened too. And seeing someone you love going threw that kind of thing makes you madder then i just can't say what. So be careful ! ! ! ! ! It's sad that people use people these days but i just had to say something about this subject. So if i have offended anyone i am sorry but i just don't want to see nobody get used for the sake of love. Or think there in love and someone is just using them just to get in the USA. If they have a real green card (not a temporary one, not someone else's green card but there's ) when you meet them then it is safe to date them. if they just have a temporary card or they don't have a card at all then. PASS there AZZ up !!! Because you will never know if they truely love you or not. Also last but not lease. Check the website www.ins.org and learn all of the steps required to get someone in the USA. Because these people coming here. They know the steps. And they know the steps well ! ! ! ! So if your dating someone who isn't an american citizen yet then you own it to yourself to find out what is all involved !!! And is it worth your time and money. Because it will cost you both to bring someone here !!! Crime: You want to know how you and many others can stop crime? the answer is easy. SIT ON YOUR PORCH (OR IN YOUR BACK YARD ) SOMETIMES ! ! ! ! Yeah the answer is that easy!!! Something to think about: Remember to prayer for one another. As for black people as a whole, we must start treating each other with more respect then we have been doing. From stop stealing from one another to respecting our women to our women respecting themselves. Also we must be more successful in other areas besides Entertainment and in sports. we also need to clean up our music and the way we dress. With our youth wearing there jeans hanging all down off of there butts with over size shirts not fitting right. The image we are presenting to the world isn't good. For example rap music over half of the music sounds great but the lyrics to some of these songs just doesn?t make any sense nor does it sound good. It?s starting to sound really lame guys. Really LAME, back in the 70?s rap music use to tell a story about a person?s life how they went from nothing and made something out of their lives. And don?t get me wrong some of the rap songs still talk about that type of things but all ya hear is songs talking about picking up there gat and wasting someone or there calling the females %#&@$!es or hoes etc. And how there portraying how the black females look on these music videos is something else let me tell ya. And ladies it?s up to you guys to fix this image. Stop going to auditions for these videos. I don?t have the right to see your booty bouncing on my tv unless I am married to ya and we shot some naughty home videos or something. Nor does the rest of the males across the world. And here is something to think about. If something is seen all of the time and by everyone then there is nothing special about that certain thing anymore now is it? If you want to be treated special then act special. If an artist?s music is good then his or her work will prove it?s worth!!! And to be honest with you I can really enjoy 90% of todays rap music videos with the MUTE feature turned ON my TV (by watching the females on the videos, screw the artist)!!!! Now if your not getting what I am trying to say by now then you never will. As black people we have already proven that we can be successful in singing, dancing, playing football, basketball and baseball and pelvic thrusting too. It?s time to prove our worth in other ways. Like using our minds to come up with cures for diseases that ill our people and people of the world. It?s time for us to dress better then everyone else and look neat and smell good. It?s time for us to stop blaming others for us not succeeding in the world of business or in life. As a people we should want a better life. Did you know that a lot of people from other countries are coming over here and getting a lot of the so-called jobs that we don?t want? But if we are to lazy to go to college or some vo-tech and get the better jobs what other choices are left but a low paying job. So, either way you look at it you have to do something or you will loose out. Also did you know that black college female students out number black male college students 5 to 1? That?s scary to me guys. And with the way things are going now. College people are marrying college people more and more these days too (no matter what the race). So, if you have a hood rat mentality then that?s what your gonna marry. Sorry guys, only the fine ladies are gonna be able to get away with marrying a man with a lot of money and not have anything her self!!! A college grad woman won?t put up with no man without some type of income equal to or more then what she is making. Sad as that sounds but that is the true. And your chances are for you meeting one that has graduated from college and you have never even been to college (and trying to date them or marry them) will be slim. She won?t even associate with you more then likely. I?m talking about everyday black people not your superstar football players and rappers and not your supermodel looking black gals either. Because we already know that money is the reason why they hook up with each other. Well anyway I can go on and on about this but. We must do better people. We must!! And last but not least please stop using the word. Nigga or %#&@$!, however you decide to use it or spell it. Just remember that word was used by Caucasians that owned black people as slaves and during the highly racist time period of the 50?s & 60?s and even now. There is no reason why we should be using that word towards each other now. African people not African American but the real Africans don?t even use that word at all. Even when there mad at each other. You can?t go wrong with the following. 1. Let the Lord be the Lord of your life and give your life to Christ!! Romans chapter 10 verses 9-10 read and believe. 2. Obey all of the 10 commandments 3. Fast and pray and tithe and go to church!! 4. Witness and tell the world about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. DVD Recorders (the pros & cons) Ok I am writing this is because some of ya might want to get a DVD recorder and get rid of your VCR and I am going to try to give ya the pros and cons of doing that. But you might one to think about the following things first before buying a DVD Recorder. Having a DVD Recorder (the Pros): 1.you don?t have to rewind it after ya get finished viewing it. 2.It can hold up to at least 6 hrs of content. 3.You can erase the contents when you want too / get finished looking at it (on dvd+rw type disc). 4.And if the contents that your going to record is clear then you will have a great copy of it on DVD. Which is great. Any recording device is only going to be as clear as it?s source!! 5. DVD?s as in DVD+R?s & DVD-R?s are pretty reliable format once recorded and finalized and it?s available worldwide. 6. According to the disc specs you can record on a DVD+RW disc 1000 times before it becomes no good. 7. If the contents are recorded right and from a clear source. Then you will enjoy the DVD?s that you have made a great deal and it should last a lifetime as well if the unit and DVD?s are taken care of properly. Having a DVD Recorder (the Cons): 1.DVD+RW disc don?t live up to the 1000 time recording standard that the specs say. The DVD+RW last more like 300 times or 400 if your lucky. 2.The DVD recorder unit (none pc based units) itself is full of copyright protection software so dubbing a store bought DVD isn?t possible without buying additional equipment. 3.DVD+R & DVD-R disc can only be written to one time so better make sure you put everything you want on there the first time before you finalized it. Because once you finalized it. That?s it, nothing more can be added to that disc that you just recorded. 4.As with CD+R?s & CD-RW?s. The DVD format is the same. Get your disc scratched up really bad or really dirty then you might as well throw the disc away. 5. Disc errors, some DVD discs are written to and erased by the unit without problem. And then they?re some DVD+R / DVD-R disc that will fail you. And it?s not if they will fail ya it?s when. I know is because I have some discs right now that use to be good for 6 hrs and now they are only good for 1hr. 6. On some units but, not all units the disc can get stuck in the machine and you will have to take the cover off just to get the disc out by pressing the drive?s eject button on the inside of the unit. And you have to do it this way is because when a disc is stuck the unit doesn?t respond to the buttons being pressed on the outside of the unit. Now if you can live with the pros and cons I just named then by all means go out and get yourself a DVD recorder today. But if you can?t then I would stick with your VCR. And I am sure there a lot more pros and cons that I may have missed with the DVD format but. I think I have written enough to let you know what your in for if you buy yourself a DVD recorder. Modeling, something else to think about!!! Now here is a issue I have to speak on and I know there will be a lot of people that may or may not agree with me but I feel as though I have to say something about it. The topic is modeling. Here goes But before I go on lets look at the word exploited for a minute. Here it?s meaning Main Entry: exA?ploit Pronunciation: ik-'sploit, 'ek-" Function: transitive verb 1 : to make productive use of : UTILIZE exploiting your talents exploit your opponent's weakness 2 : to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage ,exploiting migrant farm workers A person really should look at number 2s meaning the most!! Because that?s what really happens right there. Well anyway here I go 1.Its not modeling when you have your legs wide open then that?s not modeling you?re being exploited!! 2.Its not modeling when your pictures has no kind of information on how a person can buy the things that your modeling. your being exploited!! 3.Its not modeling when any of your pictures contain any nudity at all then your being exploited!! Unless of course your modeling body and pubic hair LOL 4.Its not modeling when your pictures have you spread eagle over anything half dressed or not dressed at all then your being exploited!! 5. Its not modeling if you have to sleep with anybody or anything just to get the job either. And that for sure equals your being exploited!! Modeling should consist of displaying the product at hand and not displaying any type of the female?s private parts without any exceptions!! Also, the women who model should have some type line they will not cross when it comes to modeling. Only you ladies that model have the power to send a message to the modeling agencies what is acceptable and what isn?t. And I mean all of you!! Not just a handful but, all of you!! Think about it. It would be very hard to take pictures of a model if none of the models are willing to except having their bodies exposed in any type of way. The modeling world would have to conform to the demands or go out of business. Real modeling has the product at hand being displayed with all the information necessary to order the product being displayed and none of the model?s body parts are being exposed either (when it is done in good taste). Ladies Underwear of all types can sale itself without even having a model wear them. And yeah I know that sex sells but sex can only sell a product only if we make it the primary idea behind selling the product. There are a lot of ways of buying and selling things without having a model expose her self. And for those who say we can?t, Wal-Mart, target and sears and many other stores does it all the time. So wake up ladies. Recognize when your being exploited or not for heaven sake. Posing for Playboy and other magazines like playboy and doing adult movies are the only time any part of the female body should be seen. Now what I have said you may agree with me or disagree with me but thats my take on modeling!! If your gonna be a model then do it right or don't do it at all. create your own visited states map or check out these Google Hacks. Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said, "The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book." We now live in the Information Age. They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all. GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%). Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing. They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU, And they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them "Status" or that they have achieved their Dream. They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities. With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has e ven jeered them, saying he doesn't want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They'll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them. SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. A "Talented Tenth" he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some "form" of success. However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn't read that the "Talented Tenth" was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has created another class, a Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance. When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community. They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM) They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own, as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms. Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to re ad, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are "helping" their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don't worry about any of them reading this letter, remember, 'THEY DON'T READ!!!! (Prove them wrong. If you don't read then start, if you do read. Read alot more but READ guys! !! !!)
