... and now we are on the Internet ... and with a pc (or MAC), an Internet connection, sound card and speakers, you can be anywhere on 'this earth' and be seen and heard!
It was a little different back in 1961, when the WRVR-FM call letters belonged to an FM Jazz station in New York City, housed at the world famous Riverside Church.
Today it is an "adult contemporary" FM station in Memphis, Tn ... and doing very well.
But the thought came to us ... as a way of paying a very special tribute to those that were at the front of the positioning of "Black Radio", on the FM band, there sat WRVR-FM, New York.
This will have to be continued!
