We've made an update to the Facebook Like Plugin based on your feedback about privacy. The button now will simply display the number of users who like that profile, so your Facebook member name will never be visible to other users. Before your Facebook profile name was only visible to you and your Facebook friends - no one else - but now any 'Likes' will be completely 100% anonymous. And just as a reminder, if you don't want other users to promote your profile to their friends on Facebook, you can remove the Like widget from your profile by going to My Page > Edit Profile > Arrange Your Page > and drag off the 'Like Button' widget. Hey BP, BlackPlanet now allows you to share and promote your favorite BP profiles to all your friends on Facebook. Simply click the 'Like' Button on the top any profile and your admiration will be reflected both on BP and on Facebook. If you would like to move or delete the 'Like' button from your profile, you can do so as you would any other widget. To remove widget go to: My Page > Edit Profile > Arrange Your Page and drag the widget. -Member Services

Key updates include: New Activity Feed – Our new activity feed allows you to see what’s new among both your friends and everyone else in the BP community. BP is a community of millions. Now it’s easier to see who's online, what they are up and connect. Cleaner layout – We’ve simplified things so it’s easier to browse content and get to where you want to go on BP. Privacy Settings - You can control who sees your updates – everyone, friends only, or nobody. Go to your personal settings to update your preferences.
