Why does everyone want to be like SCARFACE and nobody wants to be like Dr. Martin Luther King of Malcolm X?

Posted

Everybody wants to be a big shot, big ballin', d-boy. Why does everyone want to emulate that 'Scarface' persona?

Why doesn't anyone draw strength and inspiration from The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He's not an actor, he took care of his family and he was not complacent to any substandard treatment and was not afraid to die for what he believed in!!!

What about Malcolm X?? He was pimpin at first and found himself incarcerated

He found religion and became a changed man. He is known as one of our GREATEST African American thinkers and political activist!!

Why do we have pictures of Scarface on our walls instead of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X??

Do you think reparations are long overdue?

AN AFRICAN SON BEING TAKEN FROM HIS FATHER... THIS PICTURE IS MY MOTIVATION TO NEVER TURN MY BACK ON MY UNBORN SEED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reparations are due for the African American. We've suffered mentally, physically and psychologically for hundreds of years. The African family was enslaved and brought to the Americas and was divided and seperated for selling purposes. This one act of seperation over generations has caused many generational issues and caused us, the African American male, to leave our seeds without thinking about the devastating repercussions that it would inflict on our seeds and the seeds of our seeds. Of course there are many exceptions to the rule, but in those cases it's mainly because those men had good examples to follow in their lives. The government refuses to acknowledge that this is the ROOT of the issue in America's impoverished areas. We can't wait on any reparations! What we can do is be fathers to our children, good sons to our mothers and fathers, good husbands to our wives, believers in a higher being (not a believer in the dollar bill), and just a respectable person in general. Not everybody can be a rapper. We need some doctors and teachers too. As we begin to take care of ourselves properly we will be able to properly take care of our children, wives and families. WE NEED TO REPAIR OURSELVES!!!!!!!!! MUCH LOVE TO U

Is rap music in trouble?
