Wall Street Journal July 21-August 1, 2010

http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/ americas/12/17/mexico.cartel/i ndex.html

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =pOgnq74CO6w&feature=fvsr

Why we Need Soft Power Investment in MexicoMexico: Top drug cartel leader killed Arturo Beltran Leyva, head of the Beltran Leyva cartel, was killed in the Mexican city of Cuernavaca, the navy said. Six other cartel members died in the gunbattle at a housing complex called Altitudes, navy spokesman Adm. Jose Luis Vergara said Thursday. He added that one of the gang members killed himself as authorities closed in.

This is the rough draft folks, but I will find the eveidence to prove my point. To all those hustlin, keep grindin, do what you gotta do, and keep ur head up.

Off the Wall Street Journal today, is the article on the death of a Mexican Drug Lord, Ignacio "Nacho" Colonel, by the Mexican military. So, you're like, who cares, right?

The question no one is asking

Who is taking Nachos place? When Pablo Escobar was killed, how long after did the COlombian Cartels fight over power? Will that happen to Mexico? With 23,000 dead since Calderon came to power, is it happening already?

This is something to you look at.

Last year, Mexico got into the G-20. But what did Calderon do, in order to get into it? Check the photo when President Calderon had to kneel, kneel, in front of the other G-19's, to lay a wreath for the unknown soldier. The joke, The G - 19 and Mexico.

Kneel.

Mexico is kneeling down because the US wants it to remain a weak knee country.

Side note:

Lets say China walks in with 900,00,000 like it did in Sudan, and drop a copper mine in Mexico. Well, maybe not copper, but gold or, does Mexico have uranium? Will Mexico side with the US then?

Fast foward to Copenhagan and watch Calderon speak about the assasination of Arturo Beltran Leyva, head of the Beltran Leyva cartel. Calderon doesnt take the chance to speak about climate change as we think of it, but climate change based on the handling of the Cartels.

But who pays?

Mexicans would stay in Mexico, work in Mexico, if the United States would have kept a better infrastructure, nation building, for its neighbor. But, because of the US myopic veiw of geopolitics, for a long time, a civil war has engulfed Mexico, and spilling across our border.

We, Americans, sent half a billion weapons to Mexico last year.

Peep game:

Lets say that Mexico gets tired of the US ignoring them. Lets say the Cartels join with AlQueda, or other anti american forces. The power vacuum, much like the one after the US assisted in the execuition of Pablo Escobar, is about to engulf Mexico.

Half a Billion dollars is nothing compared to winning the mentality of a people. How do you win the mentality? By creating business in Mexico, or, the technical word, investment in soft power. Side Note

Dont want to bother with checking papers of farm workers?

Send the farms to Mexico. Name me one American that will work in a field? Take Oregon's apple fields for example. Deported 1000 workers, then went to Mexico to hire more.

An arguement I have had proposing for a year with Blunt NEws is that the need for soft power investment in Mexico is needed from us before other countires beat us within ten years.

A US Naval Base, even negotiating it, will give the world the idea that we have sincere presence in Latin America. The IBD has been commenting on how CHina is building a stronger deep water navy - a missle that can take out a carrier, and the idea, the idea, that the US Navy, will not be allowed west of Hawaii.

This is an unconceivable idea to many, now, but in ten years, read this again. The Cartels own much of the border as it is, what if they came in ties with another country besides an ally to the US.

The thinking is there, I know.

The danger is there.

We must not allow our borders to be owned by anyone besides the US and and allied Mexico.

Keep sending a half a billion in weapons to Mexico, and another Colombia, will be created.

Keep sending arms, and the hands attactched will strike against you.

Give a man a job, he will work. Give a man a gun, he will kill.

Three Mistakes of Obama

Lets get to the point:

Mistake 1

Waiting to long to meet with BP's CEO, Tony Howard, and shutting down all the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. BP has had 750 infractions vs Exxon's one, so why must all oil rigs be punished?

Mistake 2

Not sending US Naval ships to protect, assist, or help the South Korean sailors of the Cheonan, that was sunk by the North Koreans. I agree with Naval Commander Saul Giarra, is that President Obama failed to act, and the US now seems weaker to not only the North Koreans, but to the Chinese and the entire world. We flinched.

Mistake Number 3

Stating, very stupidly, that there will be no more stimulous packages. Unfortunatley, President Obama crash coure with Warren Buffet was probably one sided and not explained totally.Did Warren thank President Obama for allowing Mr. Buffet to gain financially from short selling Claifornia, Illinois, and New Jersey? Did Warren Buffet explain to the President that they will have to be bailed out by stimulous? And American citizens will have to face draconian austerity measures? This quote by President Obama will be remembered like George Bush's "Read my lips, no new taxes." And like Bush, it will cost Obama the Presidency.

A Few Questions

Does this prove that a Naval Base in Mexico is needed to protect us? http://news.yahoo.com/s/atlant ic/whyclintoncaressomuchabouta nasianislandchain4433

Did the Germans beat us? The Euro is weak, and Germans products are cheaper now. Does that mean a flooding of German product to China? The Chinese love Cadillacs, because they show America at its best. Will they be competing against BMW?

The Chinese are letting porn be viewed on their internet. It wasn't allowed before. Can there be a way to place a virus(es) now in China for cyber warfare? Hello folks, they attack us daily.

Should we go against Gates and Obama, and build more military? Sounds kinda like Reagan, but it would create more jobs, especially for Union workers.

Speaking of Unions, know that unemployment is up, and staying there for a while, instead of trying to buy politicians, should the Unions go more grass roots? Should the Unions start protecting farm workers, whether legal or not?

And about the mosque at Ground Zero. This is a nation that is historically known for protecting religious freedom. But the funny thing is, the Middle East financed 53% of good ole George Bush's tranche (stimulous package). Guess who owns our ports? The Middle East and China. So, why is the media blwoing this story up about the mosque, and not the ports?

Goldman Sacs gets fined 500 million dollars? Who gets that money? That is a fraction of what they made or will make off the toxic loans.

Will President Obama quit taking vacations? It is showing that Obama has little power and that Vice President Biden is in charge.

Baltimore Gas and Electric are installing new meters as part of going to a Smart Grid, with the use of President Obama's stimlous plan. It is supposed to create jobs, Im all for it, and the use of stimulous money in this way, versus bailing out American Express. 3.4 billion, a fraction of the 1.3 trillion tranche stimulous packages, is designated for developing the infrastructure of our electrical grid, and only 107.5 of the 3.4 billion has been spent.

So what?

Each new meter costs $230, and this is all supposed to be financed under this stimulous package, right? Nope. The costs are going to the consumers, with comsumers paying a small monthly fee over time. The question: How much time will consumers be forced to pay this fee? When will the consumer know they have paid off the $230? And if it is financed by tax payer money (stimulous) in the first place, why are consumers getting hit again? And those getting the jobs, umm, are they union as well?

Evan Ranstads article on the Korean War Games, has proven something. The US Navy and military is still a feared force, and North Korea is a paper tiger, and lacks Chinese Naval support. But how long will this last? Is Lt Gen Daniel Darnell correct in statinng that a defict of fighter is going to happen in the end of this decade. ALso, the Korean War games should be used by the Democrats and the Obama Administration as an answer that they are not weak against China and North Korea, however, this is not being mentioned in the media. I firmly believe this failure to show positive moves by the Democrats is hurting the Presidents approval rating, and helping the Republicans.

California is drilling for oil and natural gas, with Venoco running the show. Good stock to look at? But check this out, we all here about Michigan and there jobless rate. Michigan is sitting on HUGE shale deposit that is a source rock for natural gas, and bracking for it, (drilling) could create jobs in Michigan. So, why is there not the attention given to drilling for new American energy in Michigan, instead of the emphasis on cleaner, and more efficeint cars?

The FDIC is going to sell off the those pesky residential mortgage bonds, the sub prime loans, we get tired of hearing about. The houses that where sold to people who loan companies used fraudalent means, such as falsifying I-9 s for the home buyer, and now they are going to get priced next week. How much? 409 million dollars worth, about half a billion, from 17 failed financial institutions. This year alone, we are nearing 100 collapsed banks, and this is August. So, we got a lot more to sell.

Will we hit 100 collapsed banks this year? If Iran sends out uranium to be enriched, like it did to France before, will they get it returned, or will history repeat itself? The French kept the uranium, never returning it to Iran.

Speaking of Iran, lets look at good ole Karl Rove's letter again, on the need to attack Iran preemptively. Now, lets say after November President Obama becomes a lame duck president, will the neo conservatives overpower the President, and the COngress, and attack Iran? if this is the inevitable outcome, should President Obama strike Iran before November? If Iran is attacked during the lame duck session, what will this cost Obama politically?

Did you see or watch the Bernanke video last Wednesday? Start watching it at the 11 minute mark, and listen to the question giving to Bernanke, and how he avoids a concrete answer. The question was not mentioned in the media, but Bernanke is questioned, and I quote, "We know draconian austerity measures are coming," and what he will do about it. I have been stating this for some time now, so, how soon are Americans going to feel these draconian measures? If you dont know what draconian means, look out.

A Response to Karl Rove's Letter

Wall Street Jornal Thursday, July 15, 2010

My Biggest Mistake in the White House

Will a Republican takeover of midterm elections in 2010 mean a open door for neoconservatives to pursue their agenda of a war involving Iran?

For the last two weeks, the word that has been mentioned on CNBC is the dynamics of this economy versus the collapse of 1930. But, first you must understand Keynesian economics, which, in SIMPLEST form, breaks down like this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K eynesian_economics

Larger economies (countries) have to bail out smaller ones

Debt must increase

More spending, including bailouts

These bailouts cause: Higher taxes and austerity measures, such as cutting of school programs and annexations.

But, what did the financial collapse of 1930 cause? It brought the birth of extremism, which we are witnessing not only in the world, but in Arizona as well. Why? Lack of jobs.

But, this extremism will be rightfully aimed at the US, because this economic collapse started here with a deregulated Wall Street, under former President George Bush.

Because this extremism is growing, especially in Iran, the US Neo Conservative movement of William Kristol, are starting to fan the flames of war in Iran. Why? Iran is trying to get nuclear power, and the US will act by attacking Iran first, called a preemptive strike.

It is possible Israel will do it (again) and the US will just back them?

The problem is the power of China and Russia, which have tremendous economic ties in Iran, and hold veto power on the UN Security Council.

However, the Republicans may repeat what they did with Iraq, and attack anyway.Dont believe me? Read Karl Roves article please. Rove claims that Iraq is heading to stability now, elections are being held, and what he failed to mention, oil will be running in 3-5 years in Iraq.

Attacking Iran, what will we do with the Kurds? The US should convince Europe, especially Germany, to allow Turkey in the European Union, for defensive measures. Germany detests Turkey, and considers them vile and inferior. However, if this mentality persists, and the US does decide to invade Iran, then a dangerous situation may be created between Iran, Kurdish separatists of Iraq, and the PKK of Turkey.

The result, a loss of all the work we have accomplished in Iraq for the last decade.

Politically, the Obama Administration has minimal control over the Republican neo conservative movement, and less after the mid term elections.

Question: What will President Obama do when the Neo Conservative movement pushes attacking Iran when Obama remains weak?

Question: The US public did nothing to President George Bush when he attacked Iraq, for WMDs, which where never found, and even reelected him. If a terrorist attack happens in the US during Obamas reign, will history repeatitself of 911?

Question: Will it be necessary to start a war with Iran to keep the economy going?

Question: Will it be necessary to attack Iran for President Obama to look stronger on the world stage?

My Call:

2012, the Republican Ticket, Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin, and Americans will be dumb enough to let them win.

Blunt News Illinois Debt , Ming Vases, Roman Polanski

Time to buy Illi noise Debt?

Remember I have been telling you about the municipal bond market crash that may happen and how Warren Buffet will become richer if tax payers have to bail the munis out? Watch what happens this week with the Illinois Bond market.

Buy FedEx, UPS on 'Double-Dip' Fear Dips? http://www.cnbc.com/id/3820562 6 In a continuing saga unfolding on Wall Street, many individual analysts are upgrading the companies they cover based on company metrics, despite macroeconomic fears being spread by top-down economists. What does this mean? There are two thoughts of school out there, ones that believe a crash is going to happen again, and others who don?t. I will tell you how and where I get my information, and the political power held by the Republican Party in financial reform.

This should be ready by tomorrow.

World Cup, All I think is Futbol

Spain wins. Ok, ok, so you thought it was a boring game? Well, don?t speak so fast. The score being 0 to 0 until the first extra time says something. To superb teams at an international level that couldn?t score on each other.Did the World Cup get you even a little curious about soccer? Want to see other countries plat? In the Us, start supporting our home teams, from LA Galaxy, to Chicago Fire, and one of the sickest teams, Houston Dynamos.

The previous decade Ted Turner didn?t want to invest in Spanish TV stations on cable because he didn?t see a need for it. Then came Dish TV and Dish Network with Spanish Channel packages. During the housing boom, Latinos who built these underwater homes where purchasing satellite TV because of Ted Turners short mindedness. Dish Network now sponsors a car in NASCAR.

Now, local cable carry Univision. This is another venue to watch futbol, from Mexico. Im a Toluca fan, but other teams, Chivas, Pumas, America, to name a few, are great teams. Mexico didn?t beat Argetina, which I thought they would, but watch the game again. Notice how many fouls where never called?

More about Futbol to come in the future.

Ming Vases

An article for Wednesday that you will definitely want to read. I see the Chinese as a superior world power that has been largely underestimated. They closed their doors to the rest of the world and only within the last century have been involved on the world stage.

But there is a mentality in China that is as scary as the US Neo Conservative movement of William Kristol. I tie it to Mao?s Cultural Revolution, when even to this day, we have no idea, none, how many Chinese where killed, for going against the government. The killing and imprisonment is still happening to the Chinese rural poor.

So, a positive look at Chinese history, the epitome of the Ming Dynasty, the Ming Vases. And, once a week, I will write to you one article on Chinese art and influence.

Blunt News Explaining the Square Root Economy

Thank all for their support, and I hope they keep questioning journalism out there today. Quick eating garbage being fed to you, order the filet minon, in whatever you do.

The Square Root Economy

I have been on vacation for the World Cup, man, what has happened to the quality of referees? High caliber players deserve equivalent referees.

So, later today I will be back in da saddle and explain an idea that I heard on CNBC yesterday, and I agree with him. Sorry, forgot the gentlemen's name. But thank you CNBC. Also, yesterdays interveiw on CNBC with former Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Dr. Alan Greenspan, wow, he admitted that fraud was the source of the financial crisis, on TV. Not only that, but that our counutry "does not prosecute fraud." And we are called the bastion of the financial world? Does that open a legal loop hole for Russia and China, especially?

So, if our corporations and banks can commit fraud, what stops other foreign instituions to do the same?

Are the stress tests in Europe, hiding, the extent of their debt with the use of foreign CDO's? It has happened before, with Greece and Goldman Sacs.

So, read my article later, on describing the square root economy, what it means politically for President Obama, can he maintain the flat? Must the flat experience a crash first? Is high unemployment, 10 percent, the new normal for the US? Europe has dealt with high unemployment, especially Spain, for years. Does that mean the US will mimic Europe and go more Union? What does that mean politically? Ammunition for the Democrats or Republicans? Ill try to explain all that to you.

Also, props to the Investors Business Daily. for opening my mind.

Cali Bud

Also, 38 dollars an ounce for Cali bud? But its taxed? How legalization of marijuana will enter the California elections in 2010?

Blunt News "Thank You and Critiquing Dr. Alan Greenspan"

Blunt News Critiquing Dr Alan Greenspan

I want to thank all those who have been reading my articles, discussing them, and criticizing their contents. In this era of automatic, instantaneous information being fed to the public, lack of content is what is faltering. The argument that the American public, especially minorities, are not educated enough to understand what is happening to this country is incorrect. We, as Americans, will face nationally dilemnas, financially , philosophically, geo-politically, , in the coming years, because of the ongoing financial crisis.

We are not being told the truth. We are not being blunt on austerity measures.

A look at Dr. Alan Greenspan's interview today on CNBC, brought up a a subject I wrote about earlier, the use of fraud to get lower middle class Americans, into homes that they are now underwater in. You may hear it like a broken record, but this is important. People invested in these bad loans, knowingly or not, in their 401 K's, pension funds, even municipalities, cities, and states, where defrauded, and these loans are still largely backed by US Treasury notes, or taxpayers.

Look forward to higher taxes and less return on services. Cutbacks on your local school, after school programs, police funding, fire fighting funding, municipal bonds crashing, having to move for employment, and like California, early release of inmates, to name a few problems we as a country will face. Politically, this is ammunition that the Tea Party will feed on and continue to be a growing force.

Review Dr Greenspan's interview today, and he stated the biggest problem happening, that this country does not prosecute fraud. Watch the video, and see how Dr. Alan Greenspan answers. We are not going after Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and JP Morgan, but the guns are aimed only at Goldman Sacs. The lobbyist money has made these financial institutions to big to fail, and to big to prosecute.

Regulation is not the only answer, but the prosecuting of these to big to fail institutions for destabilizing our country with exotic financial instruments that have questioned the United States position on the world stage. When you watch the former Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, Dr. Alan Greenspan, state that we as a country do not prosecute fraud, then why should any other country do the same? We are the pinnacle of the global financial markets. If we allow fraud, in our financial markets, to be unpunished, then who will want to invest in our markets? If we allow fraud, here, in the US, then will crashes and double dips be the new normal for our markets?
