Well, it's been some months since I've posted a blog entry. Changes in my circumstances have put me in a reflective mood. I've cut my hair and colored in red again in lieu of changes that have happened recently. However, I'm getting back out here, doing what I love (dancing, see above pic) and going on with my life. Sometimes it takes losing something or someone to take inventory of your life. On that note, peace out.

Good day to all!! I have a date today with a guy I'll call Tall Dark & Handsome because he's really tall, dark, and handsome!! This is our first date, a lunch date, which is cool, because I have to work tonight. We met a week ago and we've had schedule conflicts and what not. Either I was at work or he was still at the NAACP Forum that was held this week in Detroit at Cobo Hall. But we finally had a meeting of the minds and agreed to go to lunch today. Well, I've got to finish getting cute. Until next time...Oh, yeah, I forgot: for those BP Members from Detroit, Musiq & Raheem Devaughn are performing at Chene Park tonight. It's gonna be a great show. Peace out.

Guess what?! I took my state licensing exam for life insurance and passed!!! It was harder than I thought it would be. I'd been practicing on the exam simulator for the past two months and thought that it would be a breeze...NOT!!! But I did pass, almost passed out cuz my mind went blank, my eyes were tearing up and my stomach was doing somersaults. BUT I DID PASS, AND THAT'S ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS NOW! You can call me Agent DeVille now!

I just want to take the time to say hello to all those that are reading my blog. I'm new to this blog thing, but I guess it's cool. For all those that went to the White Party at Chene Park on Sunday, I hope you enjoyed it. Doug E. Fresh rocked the house for sure! Also, I want to give my condolenses to the Turner family. In case you've been living under a rock in Detroit for the past two weeks, one of Detroit's most innovative hair stylists, Michael Turner, aka "Mr. Little" was killed in a motorcycle accident and was laid to rest on Saturday. My sister and I used to go to his shop a few years ago and whenever we would see him he was still cool and cordial towards us. It's so strange that my sister had asked me a few days before he died if I had seen him lately but it had been a few months since I had. Well, I'm getting out of here. I'll be back on BP tomorrow.
