TEST ON COMMON SENSE AND STREET SMARTS STAYING OUT OF TROUBLE 1. When choosing friends, it is best to choose friends who do the following: a. Get into fights, steal other people's property, lie and are not trustworthy, blame you when they do something wrong. b. Curse and use bad language all the time, disrespect adults and anyone. c. Kind, trustworthy, stays out of trouble, does not lie, does not provoke trouble, helps when needed. 2. When a friend decides to skip school or to get drunk on a workday, what should a smart person do? a. Don't do a thing. Say nothing but just don't go. b. Encourage them to not do it, show them the bad effects. c. Join them, have fun and get drunk, then don't go to school or work. 3. If you are walking or getting ready to ride home and a group of friends are about to go do some mischief, you should: a. Join them and go do some mischief evn though trouble and jail may be the result. b. Tell them, 'See you later,' and go home to do your homework, it will benefit you in the future. c. Go home, change and join them later. After all, they are your friends adn even if they are up to no good, they should be followed. 4. The music scene is hot and lots of friends are talking about being rappers and hip-hop stars, basketball players and football players instead of getting a professional education. What is the bnest route to take? a. Drop out of school and go into playing music, rapping, football, basketball and other sports. b. Use music and sports to get into college and spend extra time to get a professional education such as becoming a doctor, lawyer or engineer, because sports can bhelp with scholarships. c. Dont' take part in any sports and concentrate on academics because ther is no need to get a sports scholarship since tuition can be paid through working, grants, loans and parents. d.
