~~It seems like the problems hip hop face are synonymous with the problems we face in black relationships... too many judgmental double standards... We want to listen to that Hot $h*T but we demonize them for making us move our a$$ and feet...we believe that the "hood" rappers have nothing important or inspirational to say... People say yearn for content in our music but when positive rap comes out......even with hot beats ...they get no play... What is the outcome??? Rappers have to "dumb down" the lyrics to cater to the audience, flashing money or taking about what they possess or what level they have achieved......I see that the same with Black men and women..the judgment is so obvious. Everyone want to put people in certain boxes, either a Thug or a Square or a Freak.....judgment is based on first impressions never does one take the time to even find out exactly what the person is about..ok, ok some people are shallow, they are as they appear but thats not a universal constant....we end up judging Us as outsiders do "Ohh he is looks hood, he isnt intelligent" or "he is educated, he must be some sucka" or "she is showing skin, she must be a freak hoe"..We as a people need to accept every part of our culture and every part of ourselves too....we all have a freak, a thug, and a scholar in us but it does not define Us....as black people we have a unique ability to co-exist in different environments and have complex thoughts and desires...Its time to stop putting down ourselves and be accepting of every part of Us...That includes the Ni66az on the block & Ni66as in school...this seperation between Us is on some old willy Lynch Sh*t!!!!!!! ~~~STOP JUDGING PEOPLE ~~~
