WHEN DOES IT STOPPosted
This is for those of us who are "suppose" to be grown. I didn't not join BP to meet a man or to date, (the site is hilarious, have you read some of the pages, I mean REALLY) but I have come in contact with a lot of men, a few of them were very honest about what they wanted (not going for it but gotta respect them), but a vast majority of them told me whatever they felt I needed to hear to get whatever it was they were trying to get. Obviously I am smart enough to know when a man is running game, so I was able to weed them out. With that said, I pose this question, when does it stop? The lies, the games we play with each other, the manipulation at what point to we grow weary? I mean really, we are at an age, for those of us 35 and up, where you would think that we would have done all the dirt we can possible do in a lifetime, 2 or 3 lifetimes for some of us, yet we insist on playing these childish, adolescent games with one another. When do we say enough is enough. When do we stop running game, running each other, ruining relationships and wasting time? Are we not at an age, or a place in our lives where we've realized that life is precious and time is of the essence. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to settle down or to simply not SETTLE, but if you know that that is where your head is, if you're looking for something casual, short term, or even no term it is only fair that you let the other person know and give them the RIGHT TO CHOOSE. Why create the unnecessary chaos, and drama? Instead we lie, manipulate, scheme, deceive, or simply convince the other person into believing that we want one thing when in all actuality we have your own ulterior motive. Would it not be easier to tell the truth from the beginning. THE TRUTH NEEDS NO EXPLANATION |
