You're from Inglewood, California. What was it like growing up in Inglewood?

Its home sweet home the hood or are we like to say (tha wood).Its a pretty live place in southern Cali,It pretty Rough you got your gangs bloods,crips and pirus,single parent homes and what not so not to different from any other hood on the map same shit just a different public bathroom.You just got to be a strong minded person to make it and not get caught in the bullshit ya know.

Okay, What rappers influenced you when you first started rapping?

Shit it was Dj quik,Tribe called quest,Old Ice Cube,Leaders of the new school,NWA,Daddy Kain,LL Cool j,2pac,Snoop,Biggie,Nas,Jay-z,Slick Rick of course to name a few they had that influence on me when i first started really wanting to be a artist in the early 90"s i use to memic them and memmorize there songs and be excited i could recite there lyrics word for word at school lol

The South been doing their thing for a minute. Do you feel like the new West movement is letting people know the West is officially back?

Yeah the south been moving things outkast is my favorite group lol, yeah i can stand up for the west and say they are maken movements and coming together more as a family because back in the day there was none of that for years its been hard for the west to come together alot of the old rappers wasnt trying to help the young artist and weve always been divided by crips and bloods so it has always been tension about what niehborhood your coming out of.

How has BLOCKSAVVY helped get your name out?

Blocksavvy has worked wonders for me its a blessen to be able to connect with so many artist,producers and regular people who are trying to make it in this biz i dont have any complaints it has brought me friends,and colaborations.

You know I'm going to ask, how did your relationship with Street Money Ent. and C. Jay Dinero come about?

Is there a timeframe on an "official" album? And who's making that decision?

Funny you asked that question,that was one of the blessens that Blocksavvy brought me,me and Dinero was choppen it up online checked each others music out and dude was hot and it was respect Mc to Mc and from there he blessed me with a colab for his hit Cadilacin the remix and that came out Fire!!!!.On The album situation right now im worken on a independant street album right now titled (Outside Looken In) dont really have to much help with the project because im not signed with a big budget but my buz is building and i do this for the love of the music so once i got that deal on the table and the money is right then there will be a official release date but Outside Looken In the street album is comen this yr 07 and its my decision lol

I just heard "Underneath The Bullets", that shit is a monstah! What was your mindframe like going into that song?

My mind frame is like the truth needs to be told,alot of rappers feel pleased about going in the studio and maken a hot song,im pleased not just when i make a hot song but when you can deliver a messege and get people to listen thats a blessen in it self so im focused on maken a statement in hip hop and my community when i step in the booth for Underneath The Bullets.

Do you feel like some music on the radio has forgotten about lyricism?

Yeah mos def cuz when you listen it feels like your brain gets filled with club bangers and the basic sex,money,drugs and murder over a bangen beat.Jay-z said it best (the games fucked up niggaz beats is bangen ya hooks did it your lyrics didnt your gangsta look did it) it speaks for it self.

What is your relationship with a lot of the West Coast rappers? Is it all one love out there?

My relationship with westcoast rappers is coo im not to into the bullsh_t not speaken to other artist and not trying to reach out imma man before im a artist and you show me respect then you get respect returned. And is it all one love here, lol not yet but steps are being made to improve so id say headed in a better direction

You also have an affiliation with Inglewood Fresh. What's up with that?

Dats like my brother from another mother he from 112th and Crenshaw in the wood and me 109th and Crenshaw not gang but streets we grew up on and we rep.Hes a ill Mc from Inglewood and anybody can tell you that dude gotta bright future.We aint just partners in music but we hang out alot together from hitten Sunset Blvd to late night runs to Tommy"s lol thats a burger spot.Fresh is also one half of Inglewoodz Fynest,though were both solo artist thats us together so be on the look out for a group project.

So with you pushing and setting your career on fire, what can we expect from you in the future as far as music and other things you have in the works?

Yall can expect from me hard work like i do with all my music,Shows,Albums that say somethen not just a few bangers and the rest be album fillers because i have somethen to say just listen.Expect for me to be getting my label off the ground Bet On Black Entertainment and me bringing my artist to the table and basicaly trying to not just bring Hip Hop back but music in general,I want to be that helping hand to others and i want to make a difference and of course ya never know ya might see me in a movie or somethen im just pleased with whats ever hand god deals me fam!!!!!!!!
