ARE YOU A WOMAN?

Posted

ARE YOU A WOMAN THAT RESPECTS ANOTHER WOMAN AND HER CHILDREN? ARE YOU A WOMAN THAT CAN ACCEPT THE LOSS IN A RELATIONSHIP? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO WANTS TO PLAY THE MALE ROLE IN THE RELATIONSHIP? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO LIVES A MISERABLE LIFE? ARE YOU A WOMAN THAT LIVES A WANNA BE DIVA LIFESTYLE? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO USES OTHER PEOPLE INCLUDING YOUR PARTNER? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO MUST ALWAYS BE RIGHT? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO TRIES HARD TO BE SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT? ARE YOU A WOMAN WHO IS FULL OF JEALOUSY AND HATRED FOR ANOTHER WOMAN I AM NOT THAT WOMAN, NOR DO I WANNA BE THAT WOMAN, BUT CLEARLY YOU ARE THAT WOMAN PERIOD!!! THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO A WOMAN WHO IS SCORNED; NO NAMES NEEDED PRAYERS ARE VERY MUCH NEEDED FOR;THIS WOMAN

Only Human!!

I realize that a lot of people carry on with fake personalities. It disturbs me so; when i was younger i tried so hard to be the strong woman that my mom was and bring out the stronger side of my dad. I learned as i got older and had my children that i could only be me and try to instill the values that i was taught by my parents and pass it on to my children and be good as possible .to people. I most definitely overdid it with the constant trying to please others and forgetting about myself. I will say that it was a long journey and i am still riding on this road. Hell i have made many mistakes, and have done some things in this life that i am not very proud about. However; when i see my children sometimes i frown and other times i smile sooo damn hard because i push, pull, push, and keep pulling that rope to make them boys better people and adjust to this f$%&*$ up society. Let me tell you though while all that is said, i am still only human...and i am learning that i am going to continue to make mistakes and learn from them. I am going to strive until my last beating breath to make sure that i don't fail at each atttempt in nuturing, encouraging, checking, disciplining, loving, guiding, and all those things that my parents did with me.... i will make it my business to pass it on to my boys, my soldiers, my future of beautiful blackMEN who will not ,,, and i mean will not be a statistic.....who am i kidding? With this REAL WORLD? HELL i am damn sure going to try; but as i said i am only HUMAN!!! QUOTE FROM MR. BILL COSBY: COME ON PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

Black Communities

Posted

Hey to all; just thought i would shout out to our black communities, support those who are in desperate need of change within their communities. Change with lots of things; the support for our brothas and sistas who have been incarcerated and need jobs. The support in looking out for each other's children, when we see or hear that they are doing something they don't have no business doing. The support for young children that are out beyond curfew and seen by a neighbor or friend and that neighbor or friend don't say nothing but hi, instead of offering a ride home or a yell to get your a-- home!! The support for our hard working mothers and or fathers that do have jobs but no caregiver for their children, stuck with putting their children in these untrustworthy day care centers that cost more than what we sometimes pay for our mortgages or our rent. Isn't it bad enough that we need change for the world, I think it has been long awaited for black communities to come together for one another as all these other cultures do!!! We just fight each other, murder each other, outshine one another, Greed has us on a real serious trip!! Instead of walking over each other we need to walk with each other, We need to build businesses and help one another get up top!!! We need to do whatever we can for our children and our neighbors children!!!We need to realize the reality of Amerikkka and how they will not stop hating on our beautiful black intelligent minds, we need to stop crying about what has been and focus on what still is right now. We need solutions to these problems we face today within our culture and our communities. We most definitely need to love ourselves, and STOP depending on Amerikka to give us what we so rightfully deserve. It will not happen unless we move together, walk together, run together, speak up together, search together, SCREAM AND SHOUT together, build together!! It saddens me that other cultures come together like masses of tribes. YET; We are so divided yall, all completely messed up. We gotta rise, we gotta do what needs to be done. Get up out the past and what happened to our ancestors and our leaders, gotta move forward and form a new leader and work on encouraging our people in this generation, prepare our children for this dirty world and all that exists in it. What happened to BLACK POWER, BLACK PRIDE, BLACK UNITY?

BLACK MEN/BLACK WOMEN AND THE NEED OF A STRONG BLACK WOMAN/BLACK MAN

Posted

It seems as though our brothers as well as sisters have gone astray! What happened to dating our culture? Black men now in the future; after having dated one or two black woman, have washed their hands altogether and have iniated dating outside of their races. I feel as though, there are no better stronger woman than the black woman. Its a natural possession we hold close carried on generation after generation. We are one of a kind, their are some sisters who are not as strong as others don't get me wrong!! Black men need that support system, that partner, that woman who holds no barriers. As for our sisters; LADIES their are some real down to earth brothers out here who are willing to be given the time of day to engage in a beautiful relationship and build to create a solid foundation, there is a saying WHEN YOU ARE NOT LOOKING....YOU SHALL FIND!!! I don't think it is fair after going through one or two relationships with a black woman or black man, that black men or black woman should look the other way. hello sisters and brothers; WE HAVE A SEA OF THEM!! just take your time and begin your search. FOR EVERY BLACK MALE/ BLACK FEMALE , THEIR LIES A TRUE BLACK WOMAN/BLACK MAN BELIEVE IT!! P.S.S. I EMBRACE ALL CULTURES THIS IS NOT TO BE SAID OR READ IN A NEGATIVE WAY...JUST A MESSAGE TO MY PEOPLE'S...IGNORANCE IS FOR IGNORANT PEOPLE; THAT IN WHICH I AM NOT.

Teaching our black children values and respect

Well i must say as a parent: it aint nuthin like it use to be...these teenagers nowadays want to run their parents. Want to be grown period., I say that some of these parents are young themselves and seem like they don't want to grow up...They want to be their child's friend, go clubbing, hang out with their children's friends. Where is the line to draw? I am one that will not tolerate disrespect, my parents sure did not tolerate such behavior. Never mind my parents, my grandparents, great grandparents, friends of my parents, aunts , uncles, great aunts and uncles etc. the list grows. I do believe the teaching starts in the womb, it grows from that point on. Great talks and enforcing positive attitudes about everything in life and positive environments. We need some eye openers and some togetherness from the community about rearing of the children. We need to see our children if they on that corner, around the block, or meeting their friends and letting their friends know that i am active in my child's life and i care about who he is with, when he or she is with them, and where he or she is. Manners and respectfulness go together like cherry pie and ice cream, they should have been taught by us and instilled by us throughout our child's lifetime. Parents don't leave the nourishment and values and discipline up to society (it will be a major slap back in your faces) THEY WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT FROM US AND THAT IS BY HAVING GREAT VALUES ABOUT LIFE AND RESPECT FOR EVERYONE.

vote obama yall"

Just wanted to spread the word to our brothers and sisters, and communities about how important this upcoming election in November is. The motto (more importantly...the message) screams to us THAT WE NEED CHANGE and change is good. Our people have long and still suffer; if we have not united and come together we seriously need to do so by voting for Obama... There are soooo many things within our communities that need changing; and we are still fighting for these changes, they will not happen with one vote, but will happen with many votes We have put our trust in these politicians and what has been the outcome for some centuries (pure ignorance, and political scheming etc) i will keep it to a minimum but you know the list is long... LET US COME TOGETHER AND SECURE IN OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN AND BRING FORTH CHANGES TO BETTER HELP OUR COUNTRY, COMMUNITIES, FAMILIES, ECONOMY, I don't think i have to let yall' know that we are in a messed up world right now... and we need someone like OBAMA IN OUR CORNER OBAMA 08' YALLL""
