'Africans and Alcohol Consumption'...

Posted

Alcoholic beverages, a/k/a spirits, are no good for African people, especially those in the United States. Alcohol provides absolutely no health benefits whatsoever. Alcohol is one of the few legalized drugs the U.S. government allows people to purchase and consume without a prescription so as to numb them down and dumb them down for purposes of control. Consider the following from Robert Anton Wilson: "Food of the Gods, by Terrence McKenna, argues that, since every known society allows or even encourages some drugs and violently prohibits others, the drug choices of a culture tells us very significant facts about the world view or reality-tunnel of that culture. Specifically, McKenna thinks the drugs considered okay-to-good in our society (sugar, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, tranquilizers) help tailor us all to what he calls the Dominator style of patriarchy. That is, the sugar and caffeine and nicotine keep us all "wired" enough to maintain the competitive, mildly sociopathic personal ego necessary to survive in such a society and to perpetuate the values of that domination/submission system; the booze and tranks allow us the occasional numbing and escape without which we would all probably crack or crumble under the stress." - Everything is Under Control, p. 180 Alcohol consumption is deleterious and insalubrious. It gets the African-American into serious trouble and into the claws of the law, the racist and biased American judicial system that sees African-Americans as 100% expendable and thus has no problem with locking them up at disproportionate rates compared to Whites, Hispanics, and Asians. Alcohol consumption lands many African-Americans into jail for DUI (driving under the influence), a felony in most states. Alcohol consumption plays a major role in domestic disputes that also lands a lot of African-Americans in jail, especially when there are charges of domestic violence and abuse or assault and battery. Alcohol plays a role in many African-American females being sexually violated in response to being drunk. Many African-American males purposely get a sistah drunk and under the influence for sexual purposes. Alcohol serves as a truth serum as it removes all inhibitions. All types of sex take place after alcohol is consumed, oral sex, anal sex, threesomes, etc. There is nothing wrong with sex in and of itself. However, there can be a lot wrong with the circumstances and reasons behind having sex as well as the person or persons you're engaging in sex with. Today, African-Americans, especially the youth, are engaging in all kinds of insalubrious sexual activity and alcohol helps to break the inhibition. Many African-American females will let you have sex with them if just you buy them a drink. I have encountered this myself with a few sistahs back in the day. All they want is a hit of the brew and they'll let you 'hit' (have sex). Certain Black females will give up their precious yoni (scared term for 'vagina') for a diabolical beverage that costs between $1 and $20 which makes the statement that they only see their yoni as being worth $1, $2, $3, $5, $10 or $20, which is very sad and unfortunate. Alcohol consumption leads to many brothas getting drunk and fighting one another and worse, killing one another. Alcohol plays a major role in the decimation of African-Americans, and you can't really blame the alcoholic beverage industry for this as they are not forcing us to purchase alcohol and consume it. We are doing it all on our own, due to ignorance, so-call social acceptance, or due to emotional issues (attempting to plug up a spiritual void). The Black community did not witness the level of violence and homicide due to drive-by shootings like what is seen and experienced today until the early 1980s with the advent of Forty Ounce malt liquor, i.e. Old English and St. Ides. You could not find these brands of malt liquor outside of the Black community and in 2008 you still can't. These alcoholic beverages were strategically placed in the hood whereby inner city and disenfranchised Blacks would have access to them and consume them like water due to their cheap prices. What many of these malt liquor brew drinkers didn't know and still don't know is that most of these brands of malt liquor contain inorganic metals and elements that create criminal tendencies in the drinker, metals and elements such as lead and manganese. Certain brands of malt liquor sold exclusively in the hood also contained potassium nitrate, a substance that induces impotence. Population control technique? Maybe so, maybe not! These insidious metals and elements are undisclosed to the bibber. After all, alcoholic beverages do not have to list a single ingredient on the bottle and can. But because most people in the United States are so mentally shot out, it wouldn't even matter if the ingredients were listed on bottles and can of alcohol because most people would still purchase it and get their alcoholic swerve on. Yes, even if the ingredients listed dynamite or gunpowder, embalming fluid, ammonia, and propylene glycol, people would still drink this crap. The rate of African-American women in the U.S. addicted to alcohol is alarming. There are some sistahs who can't function without having their daily glass of wine, and many of these sistahs are your corporate job working sistahs. I used to date a sistah named Marilyn from Long Beach, California back in the early 1990s that just had to have her drink of wine after work. The wine made her very tipsy and very open for sex. It also caused her to dwell on past hurts as well, which often made her angry. You see, alcohol works on the liver and causes the liver to dump off old hurts and pains and anger, especially anger. Alcohol helps to release negative emotions. I witnessed the above firsthand in my childhood years watching my mother explode into rages of anger every Thursday night in response to drinking alcohol. I was a little boy and knew that stuff caused problems with my parents but my parents just seemed to not be able to figure out what this stuff was doing to them and causing to our family every single week. Every single week on Thursday (pops' payday), my parents would drink and listen to music after taking the family out to dinner and purchasing records at the now defunct V.I.P. Record Store on 108th and Main Street in South Los Angeles. What started off as a good time always turned into bad time. Always! Our home was always wrecked by my mother who would go into fits of anger and rage with profuse swearing and knocking down everything in sight, from pictures on the wall to all the things on the bar, coffee table, or on a stand. She became like a vicious tornado or hurricane. Nothing was safe from her. I know the hard liquor consumption by my mother played a role in her development of pancreatic cancer. When I found out she had pancreatic cancer, I was not surprised. I knew my mother's past caught up with her. Even back then (1999), I understood and respected Natural Law. I knew her cancer was a case of Cause and Effect or personal bodily karma. The same applies to my father who died of lung cancer back in 1994. I saw how they lived (which was insalubrious and against the Laws of Nature and Universal/Cosmic law despite futile belief in Jesus Christ which was only lip profession at best) and as such, I was able to deal with their deaths quite peaceably and acceptingly because I know who killed them - they did, and via ignorance! They killed themselves via ignorance via free will. No matter how hard times were, my parents always kept their liquor bar full. No matter how broke or impoverished we are as a people, we always find away to purchase the things that are no good for us, like alcohol and cigarettes. Things we don't even need and can do without. Many of our people can be broke as hell but around Christmas time and with no food in the refrigerator, you'll still see a Christmas tree and perhaps blinking lights in the windows. Most of our people seriously have their priorities in life all mixed up and messed up and then wonder why they can't overcome, progress, or succeed in life. It really isn't the White man's fault because he has made no laws compelling anyone to go out and purchase and consume insalubrious things or to go out and buy things that you really can't afford and/or have no business purchasing in the first place because they are not necessities in life. The Black community is inundated with liquor stores on every other corner simply because African-Americans in inner cities allow these liquor stores to open and function in the first place and more importantly, faithfully patronize them which makes the statement of acquiescence and approval (to exist in the hood). It's very easy to shut down a store simply by not patronizing it. That simple! But it's pretty difficult to shut down what you are dependent upon and addicted to - cigarettes, alcohol, sugar (candy), meat, dairy products, coffee, lottery tickets, cheaply priced booty and nudie magazines and videos, etc. American-produced alcoholic beverages are the worst because they are manufactured with ether (sleeping gas) and formaldehyde (embalming fluid) so as to satisfy the demand for alcohol. Formaldehyde is a neurotoxin and destroys the brain. It's the ether in this stuff that causes people to fall out, like the drunken females who pass out while on their date and who gets raped or sexually taken advantage of. Ether puts you to sleep. It's sleeping gas that is used by surgeons to put you out on the operating table for surgery. Now you know why the wino can be seen passed out on the street corner. Ether! We would be wise as a people to leave alcohol alone. It is no good for us and only gets us into trouble. The government allows us to have it for a reason. It fuels the economy and gets people into trouble with the law because it breaks inhibition and takes you out of your natural mind and put you under its influence. This stuff kills thousands of people per year. It damages human health by damaging the liver, heart, and pancreas, polluting the bloodstream, impairing sexual function, and destroying the brain and impairing mental function! After all, it is said: Wine will make you lose your mind! This is true! This stuff also allows demons (evil spirits) to enter into your aura or energy field. Alcohol lowers your vibration that makes penetrating the aura very easy as well as easily allowing attached entities to attach themselves to your aura. Alcohol also creates astral mucus. But overall, the beverage is mostly diabolical. Former Compton, California rapper Eric "Eazy-E" Wright said in a song: "I let me demons loose when I hit the eight juice; and I leave a trail of stiffs when I'm high off of Schlitz (malt liquor)." The man was telling us something here. He was telling us that after he consumes Old English, demons (i.e. demonic thoughts) were let loose. He also said he leaves a trail of stiffs, referring to dead bodies as dead bodies become stiff due to rigor mortis setting in. Though just rapping, he was speaking a lot of realisms. African-Americans are foolishly spending hundreds of millions of dollars on alcohol, making alcohol beverage companies richer and richer while we lose our health, degrade and debase ourselves (especially our women and females), and end up in trouble with the law (DUI, assault and battery, rape, homicide, etc). Even our unenlightened rappers rap about certain alcohol brands and feature them in their degenerate rap videos, foolishly creating free advertisement for certain liquor manufacturers and their liquors, i.e. Hennessy, Courvoisier, Gin, Vodka, Alize, Remy/Cognac, St. Ides, and Old English. These unenlightened rappers do this for free and do not get paid a single penny for their endorsements of certain alcoholic beverages they enjoy drinking and promoting, even though mentioning of these alcoholic beverages in their songs and featuring them in their videos greatly increase revenue for certain alcohol beverage manufacturers. It was reported a few years ago that Seagram's revenues increased by a few hundred million dollars due to ignorant and unenlightened rappers promoting certain alcoholic beverages. If we are to rise as a people, we must put away alcohol consumption. Yes, you have free will to drink it, but what are the positive benefits of drinking alcohol? Does alcohol provide nutrients (i.e. vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.)? Is it electrical? Is it alkaline in nature? Does it increase oxygen in the body? Does it prolong life? Does it have an atomic number and structure? Does it have antioxidant properties? No, no, no, no, no and no respectively! The stuff is poisonous and thus rightfully referred to as an 'intoxicant.' The first-time drinker almost always vomits in response to drinking this toxic stuff. This is the body's natural reflex to a poison. But you keep on drinking it (fighting your Body Intelligence) until the body accepts the crap and now you're broken in and can handle a known poison. But isn't wine supposed to be good for your heart? Who told you that? How do you know that? Did you hear the puppet newscaster tell you this on the evening news? Did you read it in a magazine? Don't you know these people get paid to promote such nonsense? You're always hearing nowadays how some doctor says a known insalubrious thing is good for you all of a sudden. Taking one aspirin per day is supposed to be good for despite aspirin thinning the blood, causing ulcers, and killing 25,000+ people annually. Coffee, which causes cancer of the esophagus and throat and destroys the adrenal glands, is also supposed to be good for you nowadays. So is chocolate (which is loaded with rat feces). Has it ever crossed your mind that certain medical doctors and/or medical research centers were paid to say certain things? Back in the early 1970s the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) actually advised people that cigarette smoking was good for them and that Americans should smoke a cigarette daily. And then 20 years later, it was admitted and proven that cigarettes actually kill people, but hell, we all knew that due to the warning label on the box, and movies like "The Insider" and "Thank You For Smoking" gave us facts to consider, though we all knew intuitively that cigarettes were dangerous to human health. Everything here in the Matrix is quid pro quo (something for something), so you can't trust doctors, the news media, and magazine writers. Many people will quickly jump up and tell you in a heartbeat today that wine is supposed to be good for your heart but will be doubtful and skeptical about drinking a cup of Hawthorn Berry tea that is known and proven to be good (healthy) for the heart. But I guess this is just part of the successful dumbing down process of the American people. Facts: 21,500+ people die annually from alcohol consumption. 13,000+ people die annually from alcoholic liver disease. 40% of all suicides are alcohol-related. 250,000 people have died in alcohol related accidents in the past 10 years. Presently 25,000 people are killed each year in alcohol related accidents. 500 people are killed each week in alcohol related accidents. 71 people are killed each day in alcohol related accidents. One American life is lost every 20 minutes in alcohol related auto crashes. It is estimated that one out of every two Americans will be involved in an alcohol related accident in his or her lifetime. In 1994, New Hampshire had 119 total highway fatalities, 42 were alcohol related (or 35.3% of the total). New Hampshire leads the nation with one of the lowest percentages of alcohol related fatalities. Alcohol related crashes are the leading cause of death for young Americans, between the ages of 16 and 24 years old. For all Americans between 5 and 35 years of age, motor vehicle accidents are the number one cause of death. Over 50% of these accidents are caused by alcohol-impaired drivers. Over 50% of all fatal highway crashes involving two or more cars are alcohol related. Over 65% of all fatal single car crashes are alcohol related. Over 36% percent of all adult pedestrian accidents are alcohol related. 80% of all fatal alcohol related auto crashes occur between 8 pm and 8 a.m. 36% of all adult pedestrian accidents involve an intoxicated pedestrian. Every year, 708,000 persons are injured in alcohol related crashes. 74, 000 of those people suffer serious injuries. About 2,000 people are hurt each day in alcohol related accidents. Two million alcohol impaired driving collisions occur each year. Of every 200 to 2,000 alcohol impaired drivers on the road, only one is arrested. Therefore, the probability of getting caught is slim. Of those who are caught, very few receive a serious penalty. The average alcohol impaired driver arrested on the highway has a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .20%, double the level for presumed intoxication in most states; that is 14 drinks of 86% proof liquor (or 14 beers) in 4 hours for a 180 lb. man. Between 7 pm and 3 am on weekends, 10% of all drivers are legally impaired, in some parts of the country. Most Americans drink alcohol. Over 80% admit to driving after drinking. Relatively few problem drinkers, about 7% of the driving population, account for over 66% of all alcohol related fatal accidents. When drinkers are at the presumed level of intoxication, the risk of causing an accident is six times greater than for non-drinking drivers. Although persons between 16 and 24 years old comprise only 20% of the total licensed population, and 20% of the total vehicle miles traveled in this country by all licensed drivers, they cause 42 percent of all fatal alcohol related crashes. According to a recent Allstate Insurance Company study, alcohol impaired drivers are estimated to cost American taxpayers $21 - $24 billion dollars per year. National Geographic recently stated that alcohol abuse costs American society $136 billion and 65,000 lives annually. Admittedly, the United States has one of the safest highway systems in the world, due in part to design characteristics, guardrails, highway markings and signs. We have relatively few fatalities per 100-million miles driven. But the portion of our accidents involving alcohol is among the highest in the world. An accident by an alcohol-impaired driver is the most frequently committed violent crime in the United States today. Other alcohol-related statistics show the involvement of alcohol in many non-driving aspects: 40% of all suicide attempts are alcohol-related 54% of all violent crimes are alcohol-related; 60% of all emergency room admissions are alcohol-related 80% of all domestic disputes are alcohol-related More than five million high school students binge drink (consume five or more alcoholic drinks in one sitting) at least once a month. Individuals who begin drinking before age 15 are four times more likely to become alcohol dependent than those who begin drinking at age 21. The prevalence of lifetime alcohol abuse is greatest for those who begin drinking at age 14. One-third of 6th and 9th graders obtain alcohol from their own homes. Four out of every five (80%) students have consumed alcohol (more than a few sips) by the end of high school. In 2000, there were 2,339 alcohol-related fatalities among youth ages 15-20. It is estimated that more than 20,000 lives have been saved by minimum drinking age laws since 1975. Eight young people die each day in alcohol-related crashes. The most abused drug in the United States is alcohol, but many people don't even think of alcohol as a drug. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about two in every five Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related crash at some point in their lives, and 41% of all traffic fatalities in the U.S. are alcohol-related. Results of the 2000 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA) indicated that underage past month alcohol use was highest among whites (31%), followed by American Indians/Alaska Natives (28%), Hispanics (22-25%), and African Americans (19%). The 2000 NHSDA showed that among youth aged 12 to 17, rates of past month alcohol use were higher in rural areas than in large metropolitan areas. SOURCE: Community Alcohol Information Program, Inc. and Indiana Prevention Resource Center. Despite all the facts above, should alcohol be banned or prohibited by government? Yes (because government has a right to enforce public safety and public health and clearly alcohol threatens public safety)! Am I personally advocating a ban on alcohol? No! I say let the stuff exist and let people start exercising common sense, reason, and intelligence for purposes of making good and healthy choices that would cause people to not purchase alcohol, forcing the alcohol industry to shut itself down. Remember, profit is the lifeblood of all business. No business can survive absent profit. Stop giving a business profits by patronizing it and it automatically dies. It's really such a simple thing and notion. But only simpletons don't understand it. This means we have a lot of simpletons walking around today, especially in the Black community. Excerpted from "Diet For an African People" by Djehuty Ma'at-Ra, scheduled for release Summer 2008. Pre-order sales: $20 (regular price $30)

In Search of a Sister

We are looking for a good sister.
We are looking for a righteous sister. A real righteous sister.

Not one of those teary-eyed girls watching General Hospital who

thinks the only love worth striving
for occurs at first sight and will

be breathless with passion
by the second commercial.
choices about the future they can have together.

We are looking for a real righteous
sister who embraces passion
and wisdom.

We are looking for a righteous
sister who knows how to give unconditional love -- not just demand it.

We are looking for a righteous sister who will communicate without

screaming or accusing, who will listen without trying to think of

snappy replies, and who will not
perpetuate female stereotypes by
using hormonal imbalances as an excuse to act ugly.

We are looking for a real righteous sister.

ain't scared of honesty,
and knows it's time to save the race righteous sister.
A good mother,
good wife, good lover, good worker,
strong supporter, intelligent,
innovative righteous sister.

A righteous sister who realizes Nintendo is not
a mother, BET is not awife,
and Fabio is not herhusband.

And accept equal responsibility for the relationship
righteous sister...and ask
how a brother's day was
righteous sister.

And generate some sympathy for
a brother when he's down
righteous sister...a righteous sister
who knows how to tell a good
joke, and how to take one.

A righteous sister who is confident enough about her
looks that she doesn't have to be two hours late for every
appointment because she was primping in the mirror.

A righteous sister who realizes that if she's beautiful
inside, tidy outside, and healthy, then $400 worth of makeup,
jewels, and esigner fashions are just covering up her real oveliness.

A righteous sister who doesn't compare every brother she's
never met to that last immature fool on Oprah.

A righteous sister who is an example to all around her of
what a black woman should be in times like these.

A righteous sister whose soul is pure, mind is keen, heart
is warm, and body is reserved for the one and only person she will spend
her entire life with.

A righteous sister looking for a man of comparable qualities.

A righteous sister who will encourage such a man's
interest in her, insteadof cast him aside for the nearest crotch-grabbing,
illiterate convict who just happens to have a Corvette, a credit
card, and a Billy Dee Williams smile.

A read a book and sing a tune righteous sister...a
righteous sister who loves black men
and protects black children.

A righteous sister who doesn't
dog her man -- especially in public.

And turn Melrose off, put down Denzel's latest Ebony cover,
put away the shallow, sugary Harlequin romances, and let's talk
instead and build some tender, realistic love that will stand the test
of time righteous sister.

And tell your man -- instead of just your homegirls --
when you're hurting righteous sister.

And "I realize you aren't a mind reader, so I'll tell you
what I want" righteous sister.

A sister who is open.

A sister who can move toward her goals and toward her man's and toward heaven.

A sister who is not intimidated or confused when a man
opens a door for her, or pulls out a chair for her, or shows her old-fashioned respect.

We are looking for a righteous sister.

We used to call her "a good sister."

A sister who loves her people.

A sister who doesn't take advantage of a gentleman by hitting or slapping him when she knows he wouldn't dream of retaliating.

A sister who doesn't make wild, abusive comments when she knows how hurtful they are.

A sister who knows that time and tenderness with her man are more important than the latest gossip on the phone.

A sister who says:"I made him feel good.I showed him how much I love and cherish him."

A sister who is caring and sweet.
A sister who realizes that gentleness and femininity
didn't have to die with women's liberation, no more than chivalry had to die with Sir Galahad.

A sister who says: "I made him feel so accepted and happy and free that hefell asleep in my arms and his heartbeat sounded like the ocean after a storm ..."

We are looking for a real good sister.

We are looking for a sister who will turn the ships around.

A sister who will go into the schoolhouse, the church, the home, and the social centers, and turn the ships around.

A sister who will go to the places where it is open season on our children and turn the ships around.

A sister who will hear the whimper of babies born with AIDS or addicted to crack and turn the ships around.

A sister who will see the people sleeping on the street and turn the ships around.

A sister who will support the marches in the street,
and the protests at city hall and the school board, and who will turn the ships around.

A sister who will remember how freedom feels and turn the ships around.

A sister who will gather with the warriors and march
--if only to cheer the warriors on -- down to the edge of the sea and
turn the ships around...turn the ships around...
turn the ships around...and this time, turn the ships around...

THE TEN VIRTUES OF THE ANCIENT AFRICANS

Posted

THE TEN VIRTUES OF THE ANCIENT AFRICANS Current mood: contemplative THE TEN VIRTUES OF THE ANCIENT AFRICANS 1. Control of Thought Don't react, analyze the situation. You must bring about order if there is none. 2. Control of Action A direct connection to right thinking. Unless one can consistently produce right action one will not be able to influence others. 3. Steadfastness (Fortitude) Staying Power! If what you're doing is meaningful then you've got to hang in and stick with it. Over a period of time others around you will speak of your ability and you will develop a reputation for being consistent. Everybody and his or her friends, because of the lack of knowledge will knock what you're about; but as long as you stay with it, you'll grow. As long as you stay with it and benefit, then others will follow. Being steadfast is holding to your principles. 4. Identify with Higher Ideals What makes some people strong (steadfast) while others change from one week to the next? Identity with something larger than themselves is what it is. As we examine ourselves we find that most of what we have been concerned with to the present has been self-centered and petty. Our identity with African people world-wide and throughout time is the highest identity that exists for us. 5. Evidence of a Mission Our situation in captivity speaks of our need to liberate ourselves. Liberation is our mission. Some might say we'll never achieve it in our lifetimes, but we're not concerned with our lifetimes. We're concerned with the liberation (advancement) of African people. This means that everyone we come in contact with must be fed something, so that the seed of liberation grows within them. 6. Evidence of a Call to Spiritual Order Once you have seen the 'Mission' and understand its importance, then you must move in that direction. Some people in this western culture get "saved". We must get "Conscious" and act to fill the needs among our people. No Brother, conscious brother or sister can be comfortable until our situation as a people is corrected. 7. Freedom from Resentment (Courage). The move to freedom calls for change. Change disrupts, breaks, reassembles and redefines. While things are in the process of change there is no stability, no comfort. For this reason many avoid change. One who is enlightened however sees change as a must because the alternative is death for African people. Now comes the conflict. Your parents, family and friends don't see what you see. You can't follow their path and they don't see yours. They will act negative towards you as you follow your direction. Only courage will help you stay on your path and that courage comes from within. That courage will keep you from being resentful against those who don't see; and that same courage will stop their resentment from getting in you and slowing you down. 8. Confidence in the Power of the Master (Teacher). If you have come to the level where you want to develop (change) then the best thing to do is to become the student of someone more advanced in the path (liberation) that you want to follow a master (teacher) is someone who has demonstrated their attachment to the advancement of our people. 9. Confidence in One's Own Learning Abilities. The greatest teacher cannot teach unless the student is willing to change. The only thing that prevents change is the unwillingness to change. 10. Preparedness for Initiation Once you've received knowledge are you prepared to act on it (change)? The receipt of knowledge is worthless unless change follows. We are continuously receiving knowledge. We must be prepared to continually change (grow). Elder Professor Edward Scobie ASCAC Eastern Region Conference Adopted from George G.M. Holy War

Holy War
By Antoine GHOST Mitchell

Greetings all,

This is a poem I just finished today. It's called Holy War and it basically talks about religious hypocrites. Lemme know what you think!

Is it yo' way or Yahweh?
Who's to say?

There are Red Seas of blood running from religious wounds
Foliticans becoming biblical scholars as if they have the original Dead Sea Scrolls in their Rooms
Oval Office anti-Christs and their religious right
Com-patriarchs worship doomsday and start holy wars
Neo-Toms with talk shows claim to be Christian but tell their audiences to look to Sylvia For the stars
These foliticians hold personalized, plagiarized, and paganized Dead Sea scrolls locked Inside of Libraries of Congress
Yet those Raiders of Lost Arks claim to be righteous
They might just get the mark of the beast
Screamin' that they all about peace
As conservative evangelicals bless machine guns placed in the arms of low-income Soldiers
As conservative evangelicals burn crosses while praising bombs descending upon Baghdad and Fullujah in the name of holy crude oil

Is it yo' way or Allah way?
Who's to say?

Hypocrites floss medallion crucifixes
While crucially crucifying
Those who choose not to be held by the crucibles of false teaching
You can find them in pulpits or even poetry venues preaching down the throats of
Anti-collection plate worshippers
If I was to say all praises due to Allah
Jesus loving Judases would kiss me on the cheek and call me pagan
And if I refuse to hear that brother in the bow tie's Final Call he'd say I was enthralled in The slave mind
When really I just couldn't find another dollar to support his cause
Foliticians become false prophets as if they can see invisible writings of Jesus on the Walls
Don't you see how they got our human people?
Claiming that we are all equal, but if they see a guy with a turban and robe they'd act like
He's strapped with suicide bombs like a true
"Kid Dynomiiiiiite!"
I'm sorry Amerikkka
So-called Islamic fundamentalist don't scare me
Now some Bush bumper sticker red-neck holding a bible in one hand and a rifle in the Other, wearing nothing but an American flag for a toga
Explodes historical images in my mind like 1963 church bombing

Is it yo' way or Jah way?
Who's to say?

Judgmental pastors throw bibles at so-called sinners like Ninja assassins of the Pope
Black FBI Muslim terrorist inflicted tears to Betty Shabazz and bathe in the blood of Malcolm X like some sick joke
Mafia bosses get blessed by priests before carrying on Holy missions to spread their coke
Popes stand at blood drenched tabernacles sanctioning the capture of Anti-blonde hair blue eye worshippers with the use of Jesus boats
Black slaves wore white gloves when holding segregated collection plates
Catholic New Orleans overseers branded Angolan slaves with flour de leafs
Now we all saints!
Televangelicals spread their truths in return for your paper green blessing
You can probably find T.D. Jakes and Pat Robertson at club 700 raking in the dough
A lot of you may think I'm pointing fingers,
But at least I'm not pointing Bibles, Korans, or Kabalas laced with bombs
I know Atheists who have hearts purer than a new born Christian
And if you ask me what I am, I'd tell you that
Love is my Religion
Love is my Religion
Love and truth is my religion
