To you all, for the ones that are hurting, Whether it's the recession, or just how life unfolds. To the ones that have no peace in the place you call home. to the ones that stand so tall in so many people lives that you can't let them see the pain thats inflicted on you. To the ones that continue to love and scarfice the mere necessities of survival to help the ones he or she love. To the ones that feel like God isn't fair just because. to the one's that are physically and mentally disabled. To the one's that are locked up whether you're wrong or you're right. I love you, yes I love you. With every fault through every good or bad decision, every accomplishment you are my family. Hate is like cancer it's been killing us for years, but who we really hate we can't get to so we take it out on the people in our vicinity. Today seems to be harder than yesterday just because I'm one more day behind one more day closer to being evicted, without lights, without the capital to buy whats needed to get my car back on the road. Today is harder because yesterday we ate all that we had. My family must be feed but how?

Free Me

Not the most likely to suceed

in my graduation class

they received their honors

while I was sitting on my %#&@$!

plotting on a lick

to stand firm on two feet

playing along the bank

I fell in it was too deep

too deep in my suffering

blinded by blurry eyes

the odds are steady falling

but against them I shall rise

hungry like a canine

that's fed once a week

I feed off my hunger

A source of vitamins no longer weak

I come now for happiness

shall the building go down

I'll take brick by brick

I'm qualified by the pound

Free me! from what's his

or else the struggle won't stop

to serve and protect

that's for me not a cop

I hold on to memories

shed tears when I'm alone

men do cry

it don't change the fact that I'm grown

every breath of this blessing

from here on out I want to be

the most precious breath I've breathed

remove the chains to free me
