Meet Me At The Brook

I'm just glad that this is our special place because I only have to whisper if I want to. As I stand here and look at you from this side, I see selfishness, trickery, beauty, youth, and sex appeal, and I cant help but ask myself..... What do you want from me? At this point it really doesn't matter though because I know what I want. After all this time my heart is still not broken enough to let go of the memories that hold everything together, but dont think for one moment that I will continue to let you tease me without compensating me accordingly. I got papers too and if you are still having doubts concerning my position or yours let me ask you, what have you done for me lately? I keep sharing with you and screaming nothing but love from this side of the brook, but you still have yet to help me secure my position. If you want my appearance or voice to become silent to you then keep ignoring me and my situation as you flash on the other side of this brook, and i promise you that you will only hear me in an echo in your dreams. If there is any jealousy or anything that is contaminating the white or purity of our marrige at this brook, then leave it under your pillow before you begin your day. Now give me money and not deceit because I have learned to enjoy this brook and its view all alone. Can you hear me now?
