PROGRAM DETAILS: The program is a yearlong internship where you will serve as your college’s or university’s BLACK ENTERPRISE representative, working to promote BE and its sponsors to your fellow peers. This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet and break into the fast-paced world of marketing. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: • posting flyers • hosting BE display tables and events • administering surveys • distributing giveaways • spreading the word about BLACK ENTERPRISE events, TV shows, magazine, etc. • selling discounted subscriptions We are seeking energetic, creative, and motivated undergraduates who have a passion for creating buzz. All applicants must make sure that their college or university can guarantee college credit for this program. Additionally, the top five college representatives will receive preferential placement in the 2010 BLACK ENTERPRISE summer internship program in our New York office. Applicants are expected to have demonstrated an interest in business and have a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Internships will last throughout the 2009-2010 school year and are strictly for college credit.
