GOD LOVES YOU

Posted

God protects you; he holds your life in his hands. God has some plans for you, some small, some big, some grand. God guides you, with a brilliant shining light. God watches over you through morning, noon, and night. God is always there for you, to aid you in times of woe. God tries hard to help you see, and learn, and grow. God has much faith in you; there's nothing you can't achieve. God encourages you to try, to think, to believe. God will always love you, and he hopes you'll love him too. God lends a shoulder, to calm, support, and soothe. God will wait for you; he'll be there in the end. God will welcome you, because he's your friend.

TO ALL MY HATERS ON HERE

A GOOD WOMAN A good woman is proud. She respects herself and others. She is aware of who she is. She neither seeks definition from the person she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs. A good woman is hopeful. She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true. She knows love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated. If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears. A good woman has a dash of inspiration and a dabble of endurance. She knows that she will at times have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them. A good woman knows her past, understands her present and forces toward the future. A good woman knows God. She knows that with God the world is her playground, but without God she will just be played with. A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and unconditional self-love

OLD SCHOOL BLACK MOMMAS There used to be a time when Black children were the best Behaved children in the world, now look at them, Time out my foot!!! 1. Have you ever been called downstairs from upstairs or The back of the house, or from the front of the house to Get the remote, change the channel, or bring her a glass Of ice w ater? 2. Have you ever been hit with an extension cord, a switch, Or the nearest shoe? 3. Have you ever had to pick your own switch off the Tree and she sent you back because the one you picked was too little? 4. Have you ever been burned on your ear with a straightening comb? 5. Have you ever been hit in the head or knuckles with a comb or Hair brush? 6. Have you ever been told to 'Shut up or I'll give you something To cry about' out while she beats you with a belt pronouncing eve ry Syllable, 'Didn't---I---tell---you---not---to-do---That---no---more?!' 7. Your ponytails or plaits were so tight, you got those little bumps around your scalp 8. The white people in the school office (principal, secretary, etc) were afraid of her? 9. You were scared to go home when you had a bad report card? 10. Alcohol, peroxide, cocoa butter, and Vaseline were the main items in the bathroom c abinet. And that red hot water bottle hanging behind the bathroom door? 11 You were never 'on punishment' - just got whooping. 12. Have you ever been pinched for going to sleep in church? 13. She made you participate in every church activity (ch oir,Sunday school, Junior Usher Board, Easter play, Christmas Play, etc.)? 14. Has she ever come inside and picked you up from school dance in hair rollers and her gown or p ajamas on under her coat? 15. When you ask her for something, her response was.. 'You got a job?' 16. Have you ever been beaten for something your brother or sister did just because you were around? 17. She vacuums everyday just so the carpet can have lines in it 18. Have you ever been told to turn off the TV, get off the phone, or sit down and be quiet when it's storming outside because the Lord was doing His work? 19. Friends, family and friends of the family try to keep you out of trouble because they know your mother and how she is? 20. You were afraid to call the child abuse hotline (because you weren't allowed to use the phone without her permission)? 21. She had to talk to God.. 'Lord, please don't let me hurt this child!!!' before she gives you a whipping. 22. You knew NOT to talk about what went on in you r house with anybody (other family members, friends, school authority, etc), because you were told, 'What goes on in this house, stays in this house!!!' If you can relate to any of these things, then pass this on to ALL your friends and see if they can relate to 'KNOWING THAT THEY HAD A BEAUTIFUL BLACK MOTHER, WHO DIDN'T TAKE NO MESS WHEN THEY WERE GROWING UP!' GOD BLESS OUR BEAUTIFUL BLACK GRANDMAS, MAMMAS, AUNTS, SISTAHS, NIECES & GIRLFRIENDS....

I HOPE YOU GIVE THIS SOME THOUGHT

Posted

I HOPE YOU WILL GIVE THIS SOME THOUGHT! What if God Couldn't take the Time to bless us Today because we Couldn't take the Time to thank Him Yesterday? What if God Decided to stop Leading us Tomorrow because we Didn't follow Him Today? What if we never Saw another Flower bloom Because we Grumbled when God Sent the Rain? What if God didn't Walk with us Today because we Failed to recognize it as His day? What if, God took Away the Bible Tomorrow because We would Not read it today? What if, God took Away His message Because we failed To listen to the Messenger? THINK ABOUT THIS ONE......... What if, God Didn't send His only Begotten Son Because He Wanted us to be Prepared to pay The price for sin? What if, the door Of the church Was closed because We did Not open the door Of our heart? What if, God Stopped loving and Caring for us Because we Failed to love And care for Others? What if, God would Not hear us Today because we Would not Listen to Him? What if, God Answered our prayers The way we answer His call To service? What if, God met our Needs the way We give Him our Lives??? ________________________________

SHAKE THEM HATERS OF

Posted

SHAKE THEM HATERS OFF! BY REV T.D JAKES A hater is someone that is jealous and envious and spends all their time trying to make you look small so they can look tall. They are very negative people. Nothing is ever good enough! When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters... That's why you have to be careful who you share your blessings and your dreams with because some folk can't handle seeing you blessed... It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be like somebody else. He would have given you what He gave them. You don't know what people have gone through to get what they have... The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they don't know my story... If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too. We've all got some haters among us: Some people don't like it that you can: * Have a relationship with God * Light up a room when you walk in * Start your own business * Tell a man/woman to get lost (if he/she ain't about the right thing) * Raise children without both parents being around * And not ask for a dime from anyone * Haters don't want to see you happy * Haters don't want to see you succeed * Haters don't want you to get the victory Most of our haters are people that are supposed to be on our side. How do you handle the haters who you at least expect to have your guard up against? You can handle your haters by: 1. *Knowing who you are & who your true friends are * (VERY IMPORTANT!!) 2. *Having a purpose to your life * 3. *By remembering what you have is by divine prerogative and not human manipulation. * Purpose does not mean having a job. You can have a job and still be unfulfilled. A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be. Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you. Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live...when its your time to leave this earth, you want to be able to say,' I've lived my life and fulfilled my dreams, .........I'm ready to go HOME! When God gives you a favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at me... Look at who is in charge of me...' Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are not hating on you

LORD I AM A WOMAN ON THE GROWN

Please help me..... to find the strength to get up when I just want to give up. to speak up the next time he/she disrespects or abuses me. to guard myself from family/friends who challenge my trust, patience, time, faith and money. to be grateful and show up for my job even though I don't enjoy it. to be a good provider for myself and my family with less stress and struggle. to resist my addictions (food, alcohol, drugs, shopping, gambling, etc.) to say "no" to things that can destoy my life, health and relationships. to discover my special anointed gifts, talents and purpose. to be successful in my business an leadership roles. to meet the right people who can enrich and better my life. to fill my lonely hours with productivity, peace and wholeness. to forgive and let go of my pain, bitterness and anger. to heal my grieving heart for the ones I have lost in the war, hospital or prison. to endure and keep my faith as I wait for my miracle. to remember, in spite of it all, I am too blessed to be stressed. to remember that You are the source of supply. to be blessed and to be a blessing to others. to keep pressing toward my mark of a higher calling. to stay in the light to see You more clearly, follow You nearly and love You more dearly.
