Someone knows the truth about you Is it me?

Do i know that you're afraid of living a life of nonentity?

You feel you don't matter there's no substance, you just exist Is it your mother that knows you're frightened by solitude afraid you'll disappear and subsist?

No one will remember you; no one will realize you ever lived

Or is it your friend who's watched your back for years that knows it terrifies you to take a risk

Paralyzed by the thought of danger, you're seduced by your lust for anger, facing double standards everyday, you live like you and do things only your way

You don't let life slam reality in your face

Who knows you more than you? Who's stepped more out the box than the shoe?The person you abused and called it something you were going through?

Or maybe its me because i delivered the bad news, i feel I'm losing you and i can see you're totally confused, don't know wheres the finish or your next move, self consciously living, yet knowing the truth, but not realizing until now that your image speaks to you

Looking in the mirror, your reflection reaching out to you, you're starting to see that you're not happy with what you do, yet you feel to old to come anew, you feel to used and battered and its only hurting you more that you see your life so scattered, its no where near stable, and at your age you cant even figure out what still matters

Where do you go from here? How do you compete with the mirror that knows no fear?

The image that's reached out to tell you change or the end is near

The someone that knows you, because it is you Your reflection looking from outside the mess, nagging that you're overdue for some relief of stress

Is it the pain multiplying in your eyes that's tempted you to change? or could it possibly be that there's something else to blame?

Perhaps maybe you're asking the wrong person " DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME?!!! "

Try asking you because you're one in the same

You should share the same aim, one life, one brain

Isn't existence one meticulously thought out mind game???
