Hello to all!! If you are reading this then 9 times out of 10 you are one of the hundreds of millions of people out there who qoute "Are The Next One To Blow" or "Got The Hottest Track anyone has Ever Heard" or " Are The Next 1 Out Of Atlanta To Blow Up" or even this one " On Everything I Love this This Recordis the one". Do we hear the same lines over and over again......YES. That's why you have to be original, professional, humble and so much more!!! There are so many talented people out here with great music but it's only the ones who go above and beyond that get that chance. Good Luck to those who do pursue their dreams i wish you much luck and here are a few helpful hints like ......
1. Get you song hot in the clubs first, so that when you meet with the station they are familiar with the record or artist already.
2.Perform at Throbacks (lots of people have gotten deals from there) or other artist showcases to gain exposure on the scene.
3.Set up an Appointment for Hot 107 music day. (you must call on a Monday 404-765-9750 as early as possible like 8:30 am there are only a limited amount of slots available)
4.Always make sure that when you are in the street you have your music on you (and believe it or not make sure you have all of your contact information on there)
5.Packaging counts for alot!!! A Professional package will get a faster look just out of curiousity to see if sounds as good as it looks
6. REMAIN HUMBLE!!!!!!! Humility will take you a long way in this bizz

I believe that there is a path written for everyone. And at times you may not agree with that path that has been written. And you may even wonder why you have even had to cross this path, but at the same time you must continue on with your faith and believe that God has a plan. I BELIEVE!

Bueno! Well it's getting late and it seems as if it's going to be one of those days where you are toooooo tired to even go to sleep lol . I can say it has been a great week, you know those weeks when you feel like you are just rolling thru the week and everything is on point, that's how I would describe this week and IT FEELS GREAT! (smile) Well here's a funny thing that just happened soooo my adorable little sister who just turned 18 and just moved to college (and think she knows everything like of course we all did at 18) is moving out of her dorm room as I type. Why do you ask (smile) because (listen carefully) She had her boyfriend's sister as a roomate!!! LOL Of course it gets funnier.... So within a week of college she and he broke up, so now she was stuck with the sister as a roomate (HAHA Mel i told you)
The moral of the story is it's cool to be close to someone but sometimes you need a little room to find out who you are. And my personal feeling are that in a relationship you have to have your own individuality , i mean don't get it twisted i love to hang out and spend lot of time together with someone special and all that but it cannnot turn into one of those things where you live and breathe that person. You must Have your OWN interests and make sure have your own "You" time. The old saying that too much of a good thing is TRUE. But hey how many of us fell victim to the first loves of our lives and thought that we would one day marry our high school sweethearts. (smile) Even if it was Wishful thinking! The even funnier thing is when you think about how grown we felt at that age and how we thought that we knew everything (and did'nt really know ish lol) At the same time that also keeps me up at night as well, As the oldest sister i pray that my sisters and brother don't make the same mistakes that i made, and that they learn from them and be better people (and they are doing great by the way so far) But at the same time it's that little bit of the "I know everything" mentality that still has me worried because when my grandmother used to always try and tell me things before they would happen the first words out of my mouth were "I Know I Know Nana ". (And of course i had no clue what I was getting myself into but heyyyyy what can I say I am a Taurus lol). At the end of the day all you can really do is stay prayed up and have faith that everything will fall into to destiny's hands. And as cliche as that may sound I truly do believe that in my heart, BUT I am still reminded and haunted of my own " I Know It All" era and I think that's what keeps me worried at times (Smile) Well myes are finally starting to get a little heavy for now so i think i'm going to call it a night. Goodnight!

It is 2am Saturday night and for some reason I cannot sleep! The funny thing about it is that i decided to stay home instead of going out because I have been worn out trying to get caught up with everything this week! (so of course now that I'm at home I can't rest!!! lol) But hey at least i can update my BP page (smile) My day as pretty bizzy today I had 2 remotes , one at my favorite car dealership Pars Cars (smile !) and then my fav phone company Metro PCS (big Smile!) Had a great time and met some cool people! Shout out to the James Fam,Lakisa, Shaka, Malcolm , Joe, Kendra, Anecia! That is one thing that i really love about my job is that you get to always meet new people and make those connections that you would never really make if you were sitting at some desk job (WACK) lol. Now that i think about it i could never work a desk job were I would have to sit there for 8 hours and just file paperwork all day!! I mean if this is you that is what works for you, but i am so thankful that i truly love waking up every morning and going to work. One thing i will tell anyone if you have to do something you might as well do somthing that you love to do !! Life is precious !!! Other than that today i gotta chance to see my lil sister she came home from college today (after being there a whole week lol!) It's werid already with here being gone to college and not being "as close" as she was before. Now i can't just say hey let's go grab dinner. All Good i gotta family reunion in the am so i am defffff excited! Well that's pretty much it for my first blog EVER lol i should get the hang of this I kinda like it, it's alomst like an online diary accept everyone can dam read it lol. Goodnight!
