A close friend of mine got shot in the back ,shoulder, and nose over the weekend and he didn't survive. He was only 21 years old. We worked closely at our job and when he got the boot from the crib, I let him crash with me. He was into gangs semi-heavily, which is not an excuse, but during his time away from the city, he had a chance and did get himself back into church. He also has a girlfriend, but she is in a rival gang, and is a professional hustler. He allowed himself to be manipulated by her, he was really a sucker 4 love. Well, he moved out of my apartment about 13 days ago. Friday (3 days ago) he told me he would call the next day to kick it in the evening, but I didn't receive the call. He was shot in the back, shoulder and nose. He was pronounced dead 30 min later. He would always say " I live my life to the fullest". How can a person do that so young? He was probably doomed the day he met his lady, but as usual with the cops, it's still an unsolved mystery. You can have an exhilarating life, full of hope,and ambition. You could even be in your dream like existence, but it can be gone in less than 60 seconds. Ladies no offense because there are more good women than men, this is universal, but for those in love with the wrong person, don't in any version allow yourself to be destroyed because you have feelings that you can't control.It is senseless to think that you are the only person that has gone through something. Please find that person that you should listen to, whoever it is, and do it! If you feel like you are in above your head, or you are just to macho to say enough with your other, then this story is 4 u. He was a good hearted person, that cared 4 someone that didn't return it, but to him he just kept giving and giving until he was broke and car-less. She will not help with his investigation and probably doesn't even care. He was well warned by every one but the ones that mattered, his parents. So he felt alone in his decision making, and paid the ultimate price. I just hope someone reading will wake up if that is you.
