Product Review: Generic Tea Tree Oil Shampoo, along with my shampoo regimen Hi everyone this is Leah bringing you reviews on the products I use. My first review is on the generic version of the Paul Mitchell tea tree special shampoo. Let me first start off by saying that I have dandruff, and although this product does not cure dandruff It does help cut back on the accumulation of mine. I wash my hair once a week, (pick one day out of the week and stick with it, its easier this way so u don't forget or get confused), first with a daily shampoo to get all the dirt and oil out. The reason I do this is because I don't know if you've ever paid attention, but with that 1st shampoo no matter how much u rinse with water that shampoo does not wanna lather up. So for the 1st shampoo I use a daily shampoo. ( If I have alot of product in my hair I would use a clarifying shampoo, but not too often because although clarifying shampoos are good at removing excessive product build up, they also strip your hair of its natural oils, so only use a clairifying shampoo when necessary). Second I shampoo twice with this generic tea tree shampoo, I like to use a shampoo brush because it just feels so good and it really gets my scalp good. You can buy them from Sallys I think their like 59 or 69cent. Then finally I follow up with a moisturizing shampoo. I almost always end with a moisturizer, because it puts that moisture back in and leaves the hair shiny Now I caught this bottle ( the generic tea tree shampoo) on sale @ Sallys for like $5 and some change, and I get a discount, so I don't know what the regular retail price is. I decided to try this out because everybody kept telling me about tea tree oil, shampoo, conditioner. Lol, but they were telling me about the original Paul Mitchell shampoo, but hell I've never been the one to spend allot of money on things so I bypassed it untill one day I was browsing around in Sallys and saw this and decided to check it out. Hope u enjoyed heres a pic write back let me know what u think. |
