Musiq SoulChild, who took El Debarge's place on Kem's tour, is going to get enough of wearing dark glasses on stage. Musiq busted his %#&@$! last week, falling off the stage during the opening set of a concert for Kem's 'Intimacy Tour' at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Feeling the love from the energetic crowd, SoulChild danced around on stage and maybe got a little too hyped. He took a tumble, the music played on and someone came to help the performer get back up on stage -- at which point Soulchild continued groovin' as if nothing even happened. Smooth. GRAMMY® Award nominated, Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) Dove Award and Stellar Award winning Trin-i-tee 5:7 will release their new CD, titled Angel and Chanelle, in stores May 2011. Trin-i-tee 5:7, which is now a duo, was the Best Selling Female Gospel Trio in music history.
The New Orleans natives and original group members, Chanelle Haynes and Angel Taylor, have been putting the final touches on their new CD project. “The album is a celebration of truly loving the life that God has given us,” said Chanelle. “Every song is a reflection of our everyday reality mingled with God’s message.”
