Love is God & God is Love

TIME

I know there are a lot of people who just only ask for time in a relationship.Trust me I been in this situation plenty of times. If all a person is asking for is time then give them those precious moments that means more than materialistic things. This is where a lot of people fail to see spending time with your significant other is valuable. I'll never forget I was in a relationship with this guy & he was always busy or claim to be. However on this particular day my cousins decided to take me out after my high school graduation. We went to The Olive Garden & before we could even be seated we saw the guy on his knee proposing to another female. Talk about heartbreak it was the worst I ever been through. I didn't make a scene we politely walked out the restaurant. The next day he had the audacity to call me & act like everything was good. When I confronted him about the situation he was acting dumb like he didn't know what I was talking about. So I kick his no good behind to the curb. Months later I moved on & he was crawling back to me just like every other man that has messed up in my life. As the saying goes the grass is not always greener on the other side. I tell people do not get involved with a person if you know you are not ready for a relationship. However if you want one or are in one you have to be able to share special moments & sometimes going through hell in one. Most people that want love more than likely want the time & not the money & material stuff. Money cant buy you love. Trust me just going to the park with someone can brighten that persons day. Those special moments are worth more than an expensive gifts. Who knows by spending time with the one you love can make you see a different view of them in a positive way.Everybody wants the fairy tale life when really sometimes what you have in front of you works you just have to be willing to put the work in it.The guy that I am with now has made me happy in these few months that we been together but we have known each other for 10 years. When we started this relationship this past winter we prayed over it first putting God in our relationship. Now I'm not saying we haven't had our days but we pray & ask God to give us strength in being in this relationship. We spend time with each other a lot we don't always go to the finest restaurants all the time sometimes we go to the park & clown with each other or we go out for ice cream. We do little stuff together that means more than money. Like the time we went to Starbucks we didn't buy anything we just talked & kissed. We even went to McDonalds had a small lunch then afterwards the rain caught us as we walked hand in hand. When we finally got under a building to wait for the rain to pass over we kissed each other without a care in the world. Til this day that day will always be in our hearts. Not saying he hasn't bought me things but we just like the simple things. Remember there are people who are in search of love everyday so if you have someone who is true & willing to spend time let them cause who knows that could be your very blessing & the man/woman that God wants you to marry. It's like this have you ever seen an old couple together sitting on a bench hand in hand & you smile because you see they really love each other. You can feel it & at the moment they are just happy to just be able to spend "time" together. More than likely they been married for 50 years or more.Trust me when the time comes you will know when you have the RIGHT one.God always leads you in the direction he wants you to go.~Sign Artistic91~

Time is the most valuable commodity that humans have. Unlike money, we can get back time. The only person that can restore the years lost is God when we do things his way. You mention about relationships. That has been one I have been attempting to understand since I was your age. The one that you mention was marriage. Marriage is good thing because it was established by God but has become a big joke with the high divorce rate, which is the highest among Christians. The writer of Hebrews said that the "marriage is honorable in the site of God and the bed is undefile." I still believe. Paul the apostle wrote to the Corinthians in the seventh chapter of his first epistle that it better to be single than married. This is coming a man who was married. In your singleness, you have more time for God because He is the focus. The example of singleness is Jesus Christ who was never married but fulfill his purpose. Also with singleness, you have more for you. Once you understand the complexity of you, you will be able to understand your "mate" (particular the opposite). The apostle Paul also stated to Corinthians that God gave one woman to one man for a whole marriage. If one's desires to be married in order to fulfill one's purpose, that person must be complete. When you are not complete, problems will arise when you connect with another.
I used to be a strong believer in interdependence in my 20's but that has change much when dealing with codependent people. Independence has been my focus and I come to like women who are that. When you are independent, you can grow without external human help but internal strength that God has given you. The problem with present marriages is the lack of growth in their singleness because the parties have not enjoyed being single and independent. Paul the apostle said to the Corinthians the following: if a man can't control himself, he must marry. I understand his thought behind that but he knows that marriage is not bondage but bonding. In his day, sex was highly prent. Our day is not much different. When it comes to taken that next step, I consult 1st Corinthians 7. I know many friends who had problems in their first marriage and now in their second. Marriage has become a status but that status can lead to generation curse: divorce. Even though marriage is great and some are still arranged today, time with your future spouse is always necessary. It was called courting and now we call it dating. Both individuals must become one in spirit before one in flesh. I have been attracted to a couple of females' spirits but let go of one who was not fully in touch with Jesus. My current one I am giving a chance. It is better because I know her church home. Every weekend or bimonthly, I make it appoint to see her. I live in Tucson and she lives in Phoenix. Though it is a distance, I love going up doing my errands for my business and ultimately seeing her. I love her essence, demeanor and body. What a combination. It took me years to get to that level with God and I enjoy it. It is amazing how life can challenging but when you get that right person, it is worth it.
When you spend time, you are learning. School and life are similar. Mistakes are made in both. With school, a teacher is grading you. With life, God is grading you. In between the two are your parents. All three are guides but God is eternal and never leaves you. It is great to learn from other human beings so you won't repeat the mistakes they did. With God, He will allow to make mistakes to learn but He will let you know that you walking into a trap. "There is no temptation is common to man but God makes a way of escape." Every human being must go through trials but some will learn from them. Time can be an enemy but also a powerfull ally. One needs to decide that position and status.

Okay to the preacher you quoted everything Paul said however he is not YHWH. The heavenly Father said be married and multiply.i agree with Paul on some issues but marriage isn't one of them. Because that's not what the creator of heaven and earth said. To the writer of this article The first man lost is The man your with now gain. Sometimes you never know what you have until its gone. I also agree with time waits on no one. That why im going to tell you a short story. My pastor husband asked her to stay home one day . It shocked everyone that she didnt go to church that day because her husband said stay home. She did . My pastor said everyone kept calling her but she obeyed her husband. My pastor said her husband took her out . Treated her like a Queen . Took her shopping . She said that was the beat time she had with him. A couple of weeks later he died. So could you imagine what would have happened to her lovely memories if she didn't spend the time she spent with him. Now this is my story the was a man who loved me and cared deeply for me. he took his time and told everyone else including my dad that he was his son in law. he never asked me to marry him but everyone k he would soon. That day never came because he died . He took time for grated so i never k what it was to hold and kiss him so Enjoy one another while you can. Get married because no one is promised too tomorrow . So one day Ill get what you have . Shalom may YHWH (G-D) shine richly on you. To the ones that have true love show them all the love you can But keep the heavenly father first and love him then out of that love human love is possible. Shalom

I concur...sometimes less is more. I feel like it is the little things that have just as much impact as materialistic aspects. I believe judgment can be clouded because of things. Mainstream society has become overly self-indulgent consumed by superficial views of what relationships are really about. Time is valuable. We don't have forever...So while here on earth it should be used wisely....You can gain the whole world, but without LOVE..you have nothing!

love is not for the weak, thats how i see it, for real going out with people is not an easy task but if you care about somebody, you put alot things to play, first jealous away from your heart, so can keep a open mind.

Time is important in a relationship, I do agree, but how much time does it take. You can spend night and day together and still not be enough time spent together. The truth of that statement; if your partner is not happy with the one he or she is with, time will not change the way someone truly feels about you. In fact it may make him/her dislike you more. Sometimes, we as woman want to take up all of a mans time, just because wwe are insecure and feel like we have to follow our mate to keep the other women out. Now, I have been down that route but I will not do that again. When a man know that you are insecure he will feed off of that and slowly cut your time sharing off but still give you a little time. As women we must be strong, learn to trust....... I feel that trust is more important than time sharing. Look at the long distance relationships they work just as well as the everyday allday spending time together relationships. You have to have trust. Once you become one that time gets cut quickly because the job is more demanding, because your expenses get greater; house, furniture, car, vacation i e....... MORE TIME WORKING
